WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a highly organized, detail-driven real estate professional to join our Nike Direct Stores & Services team as a Specialist II, ND Leasing Acquisition. In this role, you will be the operational engine behind our store expansion in China—supporting the end-to-end leasing process and ensuring that every project moves forward with precision, clarity, and cross-functional alignment.
To succeed here, you bring a strong foundation in retail leasing coordination, contract management, and project administration. You're the person who keeps the trains running—tracking milestones, maintaining systems, and making sure no document, deadline, or detail falls through the cracks. You're energized by structure and process, but you're also adaptable enough to navigate the complexities of a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
You thrive on collaboration, building trust with internal partners across Legal, Finance, Store Development, and Retail Operations, while also managing external relationships with landlords, agents, and vendors. You bring a commercial mindset to every task—whether you're summarizing lease terms, preparing project briefs, or tracking payments—and you consistently elevate the quality and accuracy of the work you touch.
You'll bring:
Proven experience in retail leasing coordination, real estate administration, or project support within a corporate or professional services environment.
Strong understanding of lease terminology and contract review processes, with the ability to identify key commercial terms and flag potential risks.
Advanced proficiency in system maintenance, data management, and document control—you know how to keep information accurate, accessible, and audit-ready.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Advanced communication skills in both Chinese and English, with particular strength in document translation, bilingual filing, and cross-cultural coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with project management or leasing systems is a plus.
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—you don't just identify issues; you help solve them.
A collaborative and positive approach, gaining energy from working across teams and building strong working relationships.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be part of the Nike Direct Stores & Services team, supporting the acquisition and development of new Nike Direct retail locations across Greater China. Your work will directly enable the successful execution of our store network expansion strategy, ensuring that every leasing project is well-coordinated, well-documented, and delivered on time.
You'll:
Drive cross-functional communication – Serve as a central point of coordination across internal teams (Legal, Finance, Store Development, Retail Operations) and external partners (landlords, agents, vendors), ensuring stakeholders remain aligned on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Maintain leasing systems – Keep project management and leasing databases up to date with accurate records, tracking project status, key milestones, and documentation.
Manage documentation – Oversee the organization, version control, and filing of all leasing-related documents, ensuring both digital and physical records are stored in compliance with internal policies.
Collect and consolidate data – Gather project data from multiple sources, prepare reports, and support the team with data-driven insights for decision-making.
Summarize lease terms and conditions – Review lease agreements and prepare clear, concise summaries of key commercial terms, obligations, and risks to support internal review and approval processes.
Support project briefing preparation – Assist in drafting and refining project briefs, internal presentations, and leadership updates to ensure clear communication of project scope, status, and next steps.
Coordinate contract review and signing – Facilitate the contract review workflow, manage internal approval routing, and ensure timely execution of lease documents.
Manage document translation and filing – Oversee the translation of leasing documents and project materials between Chinese and English, maintaining organized bilingual filing systems for easy retrieval.
Track project payments – Monitor and track leasing-related payments, liaise with Finance and vendors to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and reconciliation.
