DIRECTOR, FOOTWEAR MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING (Indonesia)
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Global Footwear Manufacturing Engineering sits at the intersection of innovation, product excellence, and manufacturing performance. This role serves as a key member of both the Global Footwear Manufacturing Engineering Leadership Team and the Indonesia Partner Management Office Leadership Team. You will lead teams of Nike and factory engineering professionals while partnering closely with Product Creation, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, Innovation, and external Manufacturing Partners to deliver product and manufacturing excellence and shape the future of footwear manufacturing.

- 10+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering, product engineering, quality, or footwear industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience leading teams and influencing external manufacturing partners at scale
- Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing quality systems, product engineering, factory capability development, process optimization, and operational excellence
- Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing technologies, machinery, commercialization, costing, production planning, forecasting, and scheduling
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will define and ensure robust fundamentals of manufacturing excellence and help define and deliver new capabilities to enable the future across Nike's footwear factory network in Indonesia. From shaping capability roadmaps and quality strategies to accelerating automation and modernization, you will drive the systems, standards, and partnerships that enable Nike to deliver premium product quality, fuel growth, and serve athletes around the world.
- Set the vision and strategy for manufacturing engineering teams, aligning priorities, investments, and execution plans that advance product quality, manufacturing readiness, and operational performance
- Partner with Product Creation teams early in the development process to ensure manufacturing insights help shape product decisions, improve readiness, and proactively address risk
- Build and scale world-class quality management systems that foster a culture of quality and deliver consistent product and manufacturing excellence across the factory network
- Lead the development of future manufacturing capabilities, creating capability roadmaps that support growth, innovation, speed, resilience, and long-term competitiveness
- Establish and drive adoption of engineering standards, best practices, and optimized manufacturing methods that improve efficiency, consistency, and performance across manufacturing partners
- Identify, prioritize, and accelerate opportunities for automation, digitalization, and modern manufacturing technologies, driving measurable business and operational outcomes
- Build and develop high-performing teams while influencing factory partners to strengthen technical capabilities, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement cultures throughout the manufacturing ecosystem
