  • Develop market capacity, demand forecasting, white-space, cannibalization, and scenario models to quantify opportunity by city, trade zone, street, venue, channel, and retail concept.
  • Create a consistent marketplace review covering consumer reach, market share, door productivity, fleet health, investment efficiency, competitive position, and growth potential.
  • Convert complex data into clear strategic narratives, decision frameworks, and executive recommendations for seasonal, annual, and long-range marketplace planning.

Marketplace Mapping & Fleet Strategy

  • Own Nike’s marketplace mapping methodology and tools, creating a shared, insight-led view of priority cities, trade zones, consumer missions, channel roles, and retail opportunities.
  • Lead long-range and annual fleet strategy, recommending where Nike should expand, elevate, resize, relocate, consolidate, or exit across Nike Direct and partner doors.
  • Define the role of each retail concept and door within the broader marketplace, ensuring the fleet delivers consumer access, brand distinction, productivity, and sustainable growth.
  • Partner with Marketpalce Development, Concept, Nike Stores, Partner Management, and Real Estate to assess opportunities and guide decisions from early strategy through investment approval and launch.

Data Products, Tools & Governance

  • Set the roadmap for marketplace mapping, intelligence, and visualization products in partnership with Technology, Data & Analytics, and external data providers.

Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as the Greater China subject-matter leader for marketplace structure, consumer access, city potential, channel roles, and fleet choices.
  • Influence senior leaders through fact-based recommendations, constructive challenge, and clear articulation of opportunities, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of marketplace intelligence and mapping professionals.
  • Connect Greater China priorities with global and geography frameworks while ensuring solutions remain locally relevant.
