WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a Nike Talent Acquisition leader, you'll have strong cross-functional partnership across both HR and Business stakeholders and you'll be a strategic talent acquisition SME and thought partner to business leaders across the Nike, Jordan and Converse brands. You will leverage our call to action: "Sport has the power to unite", to deploy attraction strategies across the vast landscape of top talent to bring innovative and fresh talent profiles into the organization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
 

The Talent Acquisition leader for Greater China will build, own and drive acquisition strategies across the region and multiple disciplines while guiding a team of experienced recruiters to deliver on their best work. You will navigate the Nike organization and offer solutions that will enable the team and business to scale and grow.  The successful candidate will be;

  • A player/coach, delineating when to execute and when oversee critical work

  • An active leader and contributor in progressing the TA culture

  • A proactive collaborator across TA functions to drive work alignment

  • Present and future focused while planning and acting with long-term, sustainable and scalable focus

  • An instiller of trust and drive influence Senior leadership on talent acquisition processes, talent insights and market data

  • Able to implement and monitor long-term talent pipeline strategies for critical business segments

  • A promoter of team cultural safety and continuous improvement by benchmarking industry standards and best practices and applying them against teams workflows

  • Proficient in driving data quality for the team 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This position leads a team of 10+ talent acquisition professionals and will be accountable for cultivating a culture of collaboration through inspiration and coaching. In partnership with the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, this role will:

  • Ideate, establish, and operationalize attraction and acquisition strategies to meet talent objectives that compliment Nike's Talent and HR Strategies

  • Lead recruitment operations across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with organization goals and strategy

  • Ensure process consistency, data quality and scalability in recruiting practices

  • Establish and monitor reporting and dashboards to track performance and strategic impact of recruiting activities

  • Manage high-impact recruitment initiatives, including confidential searches

  • Negotiate and manage relationships with internal and external strategic partners (HR Partners, Workforce Planning, Total Rewards, Recruiting vendors, etc.)


 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition

  • Exceptional communication skills and partnership with global counterparts

  • Proven ability to manage and influence key stakeholder

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on tight timelines.

  • Knowledge of current trends and advancements in the talent acquisition space

  • Written and spoken fluency in both English and Mandarin.

  • Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or a related field.
