Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team
NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world’s best athletes. It’s a place where passionate individuals come together to create the future of sport. We are unapologetic about who we are and what we’re after—bringing innovation and inspiration to every athlete* in the world. We look for athletes who can push boundaries, elevate our potential and continue leading us to greatness. The next tastemakers, playmakers, risk takers and glue players. Are you game?
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Supply Chain & Planning Technology (SCPT) Portfolio & Operations team, leading the operational footprint of Supply Chain & Planning Technology in Nike's India Technology Center (ITC). You will report to the Senior Director of SCPT Portfolio & Operations and partner directly with ITC Product and Engineering leadership to ensure SCPT's India-based teams operate with clarity, consistency, and connection to the broader organization. You will also collaborate closely with SCPT central function leaders (Program Operations, Business Operations & Enablement, Quality Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering) and counterparts across SCPT sub-domains based in the US (PHK) and the Europe Logistics Center (ELC).
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a builder. This is a foundational role — establishing SCPT's operational presence in ITC from a small footprint into a fully-formed organization. The right person is a strong people leader who can develop talent across multiple functions, a thoughtful operator who knows how to stand up new functions and ways of working, and a credible partner to senior Product and Engineering leaders. They bring high EQ, comfort operating across cultural and time zone boundaries, and the maturity to lead people whose functional direction is matrixed.
Key Qualification:
15+ years of experience in technology operations, program management, or related leadership roles, with significant experience leading distributed and matrixed teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Demonstrated experience as a people leader — building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams across multiple functions and career levels.
Experience standing up new functions, teams, or operational capabilities — not just running established ones.
Proven ability to partner with senior Product and Engineering leaders as a credible operations counterpart.
Experience leading portfolio management, planning, and execution rhythms within a technology domain.
Strong cultural fluency and experience operating across geographies — particularly between India and US-based teams.
Experience with agile delivery practices and technology operations functions (program management, business operations, quality engineering, site reliability engineering).
Experience with supply chain and/or planning technology delivery is preferred.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead the establishment and ongoing operation of SCPT's operational footprint in ITC. Your primary focus is standing up the operations function — building the team, establishing local ways of working, and embedding SCPT's operating model into the ITC ecosystem. You will also carry functional accountability as a Domain Operations Leader for a sub-section of the SCPT portfolio.
Your responsibilities include:
Build and scale SCPT’s ITC operations across Program Ops, BOE, iQE, and SRE; lead hiring, onboarding, and team formation
Lead and develop ITC operations team members, driving performance, growth, and retention
Act as the senior SCPT operations presence in ITC, partnering with Product and Engineering leaders and handling local escalations
Identify and resolve operational challenges, ensuring continuous improvement
Collaborate with SCPT’s central function leaders to align ITC execution with global priorities and share local insights
Provide the structure, tools, and processes needed for effective team delivery
Strengthen ties between ITC and SCPT teams in the US and Europe, fostering inclusion and integration
Serve as the Domain Operations Leader for a defined sub-section of the SCPT portfolio, partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to drive execution health and portfolio outcomes
