WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Lead Business and Assortment planner partners closely with Digital Business, Finance, Merchandising, Marketplace Operations, Inventory Operations, MSC, Enterprise Business Planning (EBP), and Sports Directors teams to drive sustainable and profitable growth. This role reports to the Digital Planning Director and works across a highly collaborative network of planners, analysts, allocators, and business partners to deliver revenue, margin, and inventory objectives while creating exceptional consumer experiences.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. This person thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, embraces ambiguity, and builds strong partnerships across multiple functions to influence decisions and drive outcomes.
Success in this role requires curiosity, a growth mindset, and the ability to balance long-term strategic planning with agile in-season execution. The candidate should be comfortable working with large data sets, identifying business opportunities and risks, and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field
3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, retail planning, financial planning, demand planning, or relevant analytical functions
Advanced Excel capabilities, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and large data set management; proficiency in leveraging data visualization, business intelligence, and AI-enabled tools to drive insights and business decisions is preferred.
Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners
Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the Lead Business / Assortment Planning for NDDC Digital, you will drive the development and execution of consumer-led business and assortment strategies that maximize revenue, margin, and inventory productivity. You will influence both pre-season and in-season decisions, ensuring strong marketplace performance while balancing consumer demand, financial objectives, and inventory health.
Lead multi-season financial, assortment, and inventory plans at the sport and channel level to support enterprise forecasting and business objectives
Partner with Merchandising teams to evaluate future assortments, identify growth opportunities, and build compelling product strategies that meet consumer demand
Analyse business performance to identify opportunities related to pricing, promotions, inventory allocation, and inventory flow optimization
Monitor product and category performance, identifying overperforming and underperforming styles and recommending actions to improve productivity
Develop strategies to improve inventory health, including demand-driving initiatives, inventory optimization plans, and end-to-end liquidation strategies
Translate complex business insights into clear recommendations and communicate risks, opportunities, and action plans to cross-functional and leadership teams
Collaborate across Planning, Finance, Merchandising, Marketplace Operations, and Digital Business teams to drive aligned decision-making and successful execution
