WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Local Creation is one of Nike's most dynamic and fast-moving areas, operating at the intersection of product, creativity, operations, and innovation. The team brings relevant product to market with speed while helping shape how Nike works for the future.

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and hands-on leader who thrives in complexity, turns ambiguity into clear action, and connects long-term direction with disciplined execution.

You will help shape the future operating model for Local Creation GC, strengthen cross-functional ways of working, and lead high-visibility initiatives across product creation, operations, and seasonal execution.

You bring strong problem-solving skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate data and insights into practical recommendations. You are equally comfortable influencing senior leaders, facilitating decisions, and rolling up your sleeves to build the frameworks, tools, and operating rhythms needed to deliver results.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution, with measurable business impact and senior leadership visibility.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to diagnose issues, synthesize data and insights, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend clear actions.
  • Analytical thinking: ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights. Applies structured thinking to solve problems, inform decision-making, and continuously improve operational performance
  • Ability to translate strategy into practical roadmaps, operating plans, governance, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience designing or evolving operating models, scalable frameworks, processes, and ways of working that improve speed, clarity, and effectiveness.
  • A hands-on, builder mindset with the ability to move between executive-level thinking and detailed execution.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, executive storytelling, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment across functions and leadership levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the GC marketplace across Wholesale and Direct, with an emphasis on product and consumer strategy.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for simplifying complexity and improving how teams work.
  • Experience with collaborative and visual working tools such as Miro, and project or workflow management platforms such as Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Curiosity and practical experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, planning, insights, and decision-making.
  • Experience in sportswear, athletic footwear, apparel, consumer products, or retail is preferred.
  • Strong Excel and PPT/Keynote skills

You may bring experience from Merchandising, Product Operations, Business Operations, Program Management, Product Creation, Consulting, Creative Operations, Innovation, Planning, or another complex cross-functional environment where clarity, alignment, and execution are critical to success.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Lead Business Integration across GC Local Creation, translating strategy and insights into integrated priorities, plans, and execution.
  • Lead cross-functional seasonal initiatives end to end, aligning decisions, dependencies, risks, and delivery.
  • Partner across functions to simplify governance, standardize ways of working, and improve speed, accountability, and decision quality.
  • Build scalable frameworks, tools, and decision-ready reporting that strengthen execution for teams and senior leadership.

SEASONAL OPERATING EXCELLENCE

  • Own integrated seasonal calendars, gates, and communication rhythms across apparel and footwear.
  • Evolve processes, toolkits, and learning for expanded creation capabilities

CHIEF OF STAFF & LEADERSHIP ENABLEMENT

  • Create business updates and lead the weekly cross-functional leadership rhythm from pre-alignment through decisions and follow-through.
  • Partner with senior leadership to plan all-hands meetings and leadership on-sites, and facilitate workshops that turn strategy into action.
  • Translate leadership direction and team feedback into clear priorities, ownership, and operating mechanisms.
