WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

As our Brand Creative Lead Narrative you will create the voice that expresses the heart and soul of the Nike brand, leveraging athletes, products and services to inspire our consumer. You will lead and champion creative concepts and storytelling across Greater China for ACG, Training, NikeSKIMS & Kids.

You will bring the triumph and teamwork, pace and poetry of sport to storytelling. Using the power of words, you add nuance and tonality to seasonal campaigns. Through partnership with Art Direction & Design and Narrative colleagues, you will land the big concept, then ideate and write stories that take us somewhere new.

You have experience when it comes to directing other creatives and are familiar working in close partnership with writers, strategists and producers. You’re able to both understand and participate in strategic conversations and can lead others through creative concepting, development and execution. 

You have proven experience working at scale and can lead complex work streams independently – managing and prioritizing your time as needed. You’re exceptional at crafting the detail all the way to delivery and use this experience to teach others around you. Without fail you’re able to connect the dots between culture and commerce and find the common ground between a brand and its consumers.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will lead complex workstreams independently and collaborate with internal and external partners to develop well-crafted narrative that expresses the heart and soul of the Nike brand, leveraging athletes, products and services to inspire our consumer.

You will work across different mediums, including but not limited to film, photography, and audio and will be on point to ensure that the narrative is crafted and delivered masterfully in a channel-right manner. You will drive end to end integration with creative and marketing partners to ensure consistent communication from strategy to finish with premium executions at all levels across all channels.

Juggling multiple projects at the same time, you’ll be required to maintain good communication and planning with clear focus on setting the team up for success. You’ll both lead your own workstreams whilst also empowering those around you to drive their own work independently.

You will need to communicate your concepts to various internal and external audiences. As a creative lead, you’ll be responsible to take on feedback from various stakeholders and drive the development of work to ensure that all work is delivered on time.

You’ll be responsible for shaping the future vision of the brand across every consumer touchpoint. Fostering and leading innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork you'll also provide ideas that influence and drive best practices throughout our function.

You will lead and coach others, encouraging and guiding their growth through considered and consistent feedback rewarding their achievements whilst also recognizing their opportunities to develop.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 

Day-to-day you’ll work with a team of Designers, Narrative, Producers and Writers reporting to the Creative Director ACG, Training, NikeSKIMS & Kids. You will manage projects across multiple workstreams. Beyond the core team, you will also work a lot with external creatives – commissioning various work across multiple disciplines. You will collaborate with your counterparts across the Greater China Studio, as well as the Global team to ensure consistency across our work and help to develop our creative network.

Within the broader Marketing organization you will work closely with other teams such as Brand Management, Digital Marketing and City Marketing to strategize and execute against the concept map, developing and delivering creative that answers the brief.

Aside from the day-to-day you’ll work alongside other creative leads to drive functional excellence making sure the team get regular opportunity to learn, inspire and share knowledge with each other.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • A minimum of 8+ years creative experience in an editorial, content marketing, brand marketing or related creative field.
  • Deeply rooted in China’s Outdoor & Trail Running communities, with superior knowledge of Outdoor industry & consumer behavior.
  • Can present and advocate concepts & ideas with conviction and courage, knowing that every word matters.
  • Brings an open mind to receiving feedback and is willing to iterate when strategies pivot.
  • Excellent understanding of the creative industry and are a talent magnet, with a superior network of partners and collaborators.
  • Proven experience leading photography and video/film productions; from pre-production, to on-set leadership and post-production.
  • Good experience in managing agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver the highest caliber work.
  • Great human and leadership skills that enable the team to grow. This includes a strong ability to listen and empower the team.
  • Excellent communication in written and oral form, in both Mandarin and English.
  • Ability to travel 20%

Independientemente de tu puesto, queremos conocer todas tus facetas, así que no tengas reparo en enseñar cómo ofreces un servicio premium y qué es lo que te diferencia de los demás.
