WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Curious about how Nike shapes global trade? How international politics influences commerce? How borders are crossed to bring innovation to life? Step into the world of Nike Customs - where every move matters.
You'll be a part of the Customs and Trade team at Nike's European Logistics Campus, which consists of specialists, analysts, coaches, and managers, and you’ll report to a Customs Manager. Together with our internal stakeholders and external logistics and customs partners, you'll ensure the fast and efficient delivery of our products while building strong relationships with those partners.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Logistics Customs & Trade Analyst to join our team! Our analysts work in an international environment and serve athletes around the world with a passion to create new solutions and for continuous process improvement in the domain of Trade and Customs. The ideal candidate strives to stretch the boundaries of the possible and collaborates easily with others while focusing on the consumer needs in the fast-paced logistics and trade environment.
- You understand the dynamic world of logistics, customs, and international trade, or you are willing to learn at an expedited pace.
- You have exceptional communication skills in English. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage depending on the sub-team and stakeholder landscape. You can connect and inspire across all levels, both in person and virtually.
- You bring proven project management experience and embrace agile ways of working to keep teams aligned and moving forward.
- You are able to navigate both simple and complex data analyses, turn data into insights and drive action, and translate complexity and ambiguity to simple, compelling narratives
- You thrive in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and delivering results.
- You prioritize effectively, multitask with confidence, and self-steer while knowing when to ask for support.
- You think conceptually—seeing the big picture and underlying principles—and apply end-to-end thinking to understand and optimize the entire process flow across all stages.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
The Customs team is responsible for a seamless execution of our import and export processes in EMEA. Through analysis and hands-on collaboration with various stakeholders, you’ll help ensure that products move swiftly and compliantly through the entire supply chain. As a Customs Analyst, you will coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders and lead the implementation of change by presenting and communicating effectively, with the focus always being on our customers.
Depending on the sub-team you join, the focus of the role may differ. Within Customs Operations, you ensure the seamless and compliant end-to-end execution of cross-border trade processes across EMEA through data-driven analysis, process optimization, stakeholder collaboration and the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Should you come and strengthen our Governance team, you will help advance our customs governance framework through data-driven insights, reporting and knowledge sharing, playing an active role in the Customs Data Community and helping translate customs data and regulatory developments into actionable insights that support risk awareness, continuous improvement and informed decision-making across the organization.
The Fundamentals team oversees customs valuation, tariff classification, and origin determination under Free Trade Agreements, safeguarding annual duty savings across EMEA. As an Analyst, you will analyze data, interpret customs legislation, identify savings opportunities, and improve operational processes with the full team, tech, legal, GPA (government & public affairs) and financial and global stakeholders. Given the financial impact of this work, you will be expected to hold stakeholders accountable, address performance and compliance gaps, and drive high-quality execution across the end-to-end process.
