WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer II to join our office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As a member of the Global Sourcing & Manufacturing team, you will collaborate with diverse Engineering teams including Manufacturing Engineering teams, Footwear Product Creation, Sourcing, Responsible Supply Chain and Factory partners across countries. This position reports to Sr Manager, Manufacturing Systems Engineer.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

This role will play a key part in advancing our Converse Footwear Manufacturing & Engineering strategic initiatives by employing a standardized and consistent approach and cultivating the development of future-ready leaders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the areas of Automation, Digitalization, Manufacturing Engineer, and Quality Management.

  • Data Driven – Understands the use of data and application of statistical methods and tools, able to leverage data for fact-based decision making.

  • Experience in applying knowledge of Manufacturing Operations – systems, processes, technologies, and materials required to consistently produce finished goods to a measurable standard – to identify opportunities and drive progress against goals. Demonstrated experience in working with multiple functions/stakeholders.

  • Forward and Conceptual Thinking – Proactively seeks diversity of inputs and potential solutions; Consistently challenges the status quo and thinks beyond traditional solutions and approaches.

  • Fluent verbal and written English language ability. Proficient in standard MS Office programs, business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

You will contribute to Converse’s mission to produce the best footwear in the world by driving manufacturing and product excellence:

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Systems Engineering teams, Manufacturing Engineering teams, and Factory Partners to advance manufacturing modernization and digitalization through scalable, standardized solutions that drive productivity, efficiency, and quality excellence.

  • Work directly with factory partners to coach factory teams on deploying new digital tools, automation solutions, quality initiatives. You will lead factory partners to modernize manufacturing processes, improve quality performance to operate more efficiently at scale.

  • Lead efforts to drive Quality Management System (QMS) projects to elevate Product & Process excellence.
