Retail Brand Marketing Specialist II, France
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a passionate, creative and consumer-obsessed retail brand marketer to help shape how Nike shows up across its Nike Direct marketplace in France.
You are energised by the intersection of sport, culture, community and retail, and understand how to translate brand strategies into locally relevant consumer experiences. You bring curiosity, agility and a growth mindset, thriving in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve across sport dimensions, including Football, Sportswear, Running, Training and beyond.
You have a deep understanding of Nike’s Young Athlete consumer, as well as the local communities and subcultures that shape and influence them. You are able to gather, connect and consolidate consumer, cultural, sport and marketplace insights, translating them into meaningful recommendations and local plans that build emotional connection with the next generation while creating distinction for Nike across sport.
Who You Will Work With
Based in Paris, you will be part of the wider France Integrated Retail Marketing team and report directly to the Retail Brand Manager, Nike Direct France.
You will work closely with cross-functional partners across the France territory and EMEA, including:
- Integrated Retail Marketing, including Retail Brand Wholesale
- Visual Merchandising & Styling
- EKIN, Nike’s product experts
- Brand Marketing
- Communications
- Sports Marketing
- Energy
- Nike Direct and retail teams
You will also partner with EMEA Retail Brand and other relevant EMEA functions to ensure alignment with seasonal strategies, exchange best practices and bring locally relevant insights back into the wider organisation.
Your day-to-day work will vary significantly. You will need to collaborate fluidly across functions, adapt your approach to different stakeholders and remain open to diverse expertise and perspectives to unlock stronger, more integrated consumer experiences.
What You Will Work On
You will help bring Nike’s seasonal sport and brand priorities to life across Nike Direct stores in France, translating EMEA strategies into compelling, locally relevant retail experiences.
Working across sport categories, you will support and, when appropriate, lead retail brand initiatives rooted in innovation, product, athlete storytelling, sport and culture. You will help ensure that every consumer touchpoint reflects Nike’s brand standards while responding to the specific needs of the French marketplace, its cities, communities and Young Athlete consumer.
You will contribute to the full journey, from gathering insights and supporting seasonal planning to activation, execution and post-campaign learning, ensuring Nike shows up consistently and distinctively across the Nike Direct fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of the Nike Direct France retail brand vision, connecting Nike’s brand and sport priorities with relevant marketplace and consumer opportunities.
- Contribute to seasonal planning across Nike Direct, translating key sport, product, innovation, athlete and cultural stories into clear retail priorities and consumer journeys.
- Work with agility across Football, Sportswear, Running, Training and other sport dimensions according to seasonal priorities and business needs.

- Adapt EMEA strategies to the French marketplace, ensuring plans are locally relevant while remaining aligned with Nike’s wider brand direction.
- Gather, connect and consolidate consumer, community, cultural, sport and retail insights to identify opportunities and inform local plans.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Young Athlete consumer and of the communities, subcultures and influences shaping the next generation in France.
- Partner closely with Visual Merchandising & Styling and EKIN teams to translate seasonal strategies into impactful and educational retail experiences.
- Collaborate with Retail Brand Wholesale, Brand Marketing, Communications, Sports Marketing and Energy to deliver cohesive and integrated consumer experiences.
- Champion Nike’s brand standards across consumer touchpoints, ensuring premium, consistent and consumer-led execution from pinnacle experiences to fleet-wide scale.
- Coordinate retail brand programmes and contribute to effective project delivery across multiple stakeholders, priorities and timelines.
- Use campaign results, consumer feedback and marketplace learnings to identify opportunities to improve future planning and execution.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing team culture, bringing curiosity, creativity, accountability and a solutions-oriented mindset.
What You Will Bring

- A deep curiosity for local communities and subcultures, and for the sporting and cultural forces that influence and shape the next generation.
- The ability to gather, analyse and consolidate consumer, cultural and marketplace insights, then translate them into clear recommendations and locally relevant marketing plans.
- An understanding of how brand stories come to life across physical and digital retail touchpoints.
- The ability to adapt EMEA or broader brand strategies to the specific needs of the French market without losing strategic consistency.
- The agility to move across different sport categories, consumer audiences and business priorities.
