WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike Pacific is seeking an enthusiastic, fresh marketing talent to join the Brand Marketing team with a specific focus on Training and Running, and flexing across other sport priorities as needed. The successful candidate will be a focused self-starter, ready to take direction, feedback and initiative on given tasks. They will have strong project management skills and an understanding of marketing briefs, budgets, processes, reporting and timelines. Specific requirements include:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or similar, with minimum 2 years experience in a creative, brand or commercial environment.
- Authentic passion for and understanding of Running and/or Training, and a wider connection to sport.
- Demonstrable connection to youth culture, including understanding of Social Media behaviours and platforms.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including with a variety of cross-functional internal teams and external agency partners.
- Positive, go-getting personality – ready to dive into projects with a team-first mentality.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Brand Marketing Senior, reporting into a Brand Director, you will be responsible for supporting the brand team across a diverse range of tasks to deliver our successful execution of brand campaigns. While your primary focus will be on Training and Running, there will be a need to support other Sport brand teams - such as Global Football or Tennis – around key moments.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing ideas and opportunities to continue to grow our position in Training and wider sport culture with youth.
- Input into strategic brand plans and leading the execution of events and activation moments.
- Organising the ordering, tracking and delivery of product requirements for key moments such as shoots, seeding and events.
- Leading the briefing of internal teams and external agency partners, and work with them to deliver reporting and campaign insights as required.
- Collaboration with our Paid Media, Digital Marketing and Retail Marketing teams on the coordination and roll-out of campaigns across marketing channels.
- Working with partners and communities within the Training and Running categories to understand their needs and service them effectively.
