WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role sits within Nike’s Finance & Procurement Technology organization and partners with Global Treasury, SAP Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Security, Data, and operations teams. The Senior Software Engineer reports to an ITC engineering leader and works with banking partners, market-data providers, integration teams, and SAP delivery partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is looking for a hands-on SAP Treasury engineer with strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Treasury and Risk Management and the engineering discipline to deliver reliable, controlled, and supportable solutions. The candidate understands Treasury transaction lifecycles across money market, foreign exchange, debt, investments, derivatives, cash management, bank account management, payments, bank statements, market data, valuation, settlement, and accounting. The candidate can translate Treasury and Finance requirements into functional designs, SAP configuration, technical specifications, interfaces, test scenarios, and production-support improvements. The candidate brings working knowledge of integration patterns across SAP and external banks or financial platforms, including APIs, IDocs, files, messaging, and ISO 20022 formats. Success requires attention to financial controls, data integrity, security, reconciliation, period-end processing, and auditability. The candidate works effectively across global teams, handles ambiguity, communicates clearly with business and technical stakeholders, and takes ownership from design through deployment, hypercare, and steady-state support.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.

· 5+ years of experience delivering or supporting SAP Treasury, Finance, banking, payments, or large-scale SAP ERP solutions, including hands-on work with SAP S/4HANA.

· Experience with SAP Treasury and Risk Management, Cash and Liquidity Management, Bank Account Management, In-House Cash, Multi-Bank Connectivity, Electronic Bank Statements, or Bank Communication Management.

· Working knowledge of SAP integration and extensibility technologies such as ABAP, CDS views, OData or REST APIs, IDocs, SAP Integration Suite, Fiori, BTP, or event and file-based interfaces.

· Strong analytical, documentation, testing, and production-support skills; SAP Treasury, S/4HANA, ABAP, Integration Suite, or related certification is preferred. No unusual physical requirements beyond those typical of a professional technology role.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will engineer and support SAP S/4HANA Treasury capabilities that enable Nike’s global cash, liquidity, banking, payments, investment, debt, foreign exchange, and risk-management processes. You will connect Treasury business outcomes to secure SAP designs, dependable integrations, strong financial controls, and stable operations.

·Configure, enhance, and support SAP Treasury and Risk Management processes across transaction management, position management, valuations, settlements, cash flows, correspondence, and integration to financial accounting.

·Deliver Cash and Liquidity Management, Bank Account Management, In-House Cash, Electronic Bank Statement, payment, and Bank Communication Management capabilities, including approval workflows and operational controls.

·Build and maintain integrations with banks, SWIFT or bank-connectivity services, market-data providers, payment platforms, SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, IDocs, files, messaging, and ISO 20022 payment or statement formats.

·Translate requirements into solution designs, configuration, functional and technical specifications, code or extensions, test cases, reconciliation controls, deployment plans, and support documentation.

·Partner with Treasury, Accounting, Product, Architecture, Security, Data, and engineering teams to validate end-to-end processing, including deal capture, settlement, payment, bank statement, valuation, posting, and period-end close.

·Execute unit, integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing; investigate defects, production incidents, interface failures, accounting breaks, and data-quality issues through root-cause analysis and durable remediation.

·Improve SAP engineering quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, transport and release discipline, observability, technical documentation, reusable patterns, and knowledge transfer across the ITC team.
