WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role works across the Energy creative organization, partnering with footwear, apparel and accessories product teams. The position collaborates with design leaders, product partners, creative functions and cross-functional teams to build cohesive graphic direction and deliver connected consumer experiences.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for a highly creative graphic design leader who can translate creative direction, cultural insight and consumer understanding into original product graphics and compelling visual systems. The candidate brings deep expertise in graphic design, product design, illustration, color theory, visual culture and storytelling. This person is comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing creative vision with product and manufacturing considerations, and using independent judgment to develop new concepts and solutions. Problems require independent judgment to develop and apply new concepts and solutions. This individual leverages deep expertise to understand complex issues and implications across varying product types, considering multiple perspectives and future implications to determine the most effective solutions. Strong presentation skills, disciplined project management and the ability to meet multiple deadlines are essential.
Professional experience creating and directing graphic concepts for footwear, apparel, accessories or related consumer products.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Communication or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, with strong illustration and image-making capabilities.
Expertise in color theory, visual culture, storytelling and presentation development.
Demonstrated ability to organize complex work, manage competing priorities and consistently meet project and meeting deadlines.
Provides thought leadership within own discipline and is recognized as a subject matter expert
Proactively observes important trends and patterns across consumer culture, emerging subcultures and creative communities
Capable of developing and implementing initiatives aligned to organization vision. Participates in role specific research to provide awareness on external market activity
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will set and deliver graphic design direction for Energy, creating original concepts and scalable visual systems across footwear, apparel and accessories. You will connect creative vision, cultural insight and consumer relevance while guiding work from early concept through product-ready execution.
Creates and drives original concepts across footwear, apparel and accessories
Build visual systems through brand marks, typography, composition, illustration, print/pattern, color theory and image-making
Translate creative direction and cultural insights into product, carrying ideas from concept through production
Drives graphic design direction for Energy, leading cross-category initiatives across internal teams while shaping visual language across the product portfolio
Navigate ambiguity across creative vision, consumer expectations and complex cross-functional teams, translating ideas into clear, executable product solutions
Develop and present concepts clearly to creative and cross-functional partners, incorporating feedback while protecting the strength of the idea
