WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will sit within the EMEA Kids Sport Planning team, reporting to the Senior Planning Manager. You will partner daily with Sport Merchandising, Sport Business Planning, Marketplace (MPU) Assortment Planning, Supply & Inventory Management, and the Sport Leadership Team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a commercially minded planner who turns analytics into decision-oriented plans. The successful candidate brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of sport, product and lifecycle management, and a clear understanding of marketplace segmentation across Nike Direct and Nike Marketplace Partners. They influence with data, holding their position with senior stakeholders when the numbers support it, and they balance profitability, productivity and product health rather than optimizing one at the expense of the others. They operate with a growth mindset, learn new planning processes and systems quickly, and take calculated risks. They surface risks and opportunities early, and bring energy, curiosity and positivity to a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in Consumer and/or Retail Merchandising, Assortment Planning or Demand Planning, with a consistent track record in consumer demand, retail math, financial planning, margin optimization, inventory planning and reporting.

  • Bachelor's degree, or a combination of relevant education, experience and training.

  • Proficiency in Open-to-Buy and Stock & Sales Planning, style-color level assortment planning, omnichannel retail and coordinated marketplace planning strategy, supported by advanced Excel and experience with automated planning systems such as WSSI.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and cross-functional partners.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will co-own the One EMEA Assortment Plan for Kids by Sport x Marketplace, building a strategic plan grounded in profitability, productivity and sport-centric offerings. Your seasonal plans will support Nike Inc, Sport and Marketplace goals and give a clear demand signal to Supply Planning.

  • Manage the Sport Assortment Plan, updating at key code gates from week 53 through to in-season Responsive/AA at Franchise/Product Family x Channel (or MPU) level, broken down into a style-color plan for EMEA.

  • Own Open-to-Buy plans and validate them through rolling Stock & Sales Plans to optimize sales, margin, inventory and product health.

  • Manage key Franchise/Product Family health against global franchise health targets and maintain a pull market, defining which key Franchises/Product Families the MPUs manage and completing the Assortment Plan outside those for seasons 1-4.

  • Define and manage allocations for Franchises/Product Families that are globally constrained or that cross-functional Sport teams select to manage.

  • Drive Responsive/AA plans for seasons 1-6, proposing a validated analytical forecast to the MPUs, capturing their feedback and completing the forecast while optimizing revenue and inventory.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Merchandising, Nike Direct, Sales and Supply & Inventory Management, both within the Sport teams and directly with the MPUs, to optimize for key seasonal Sport and Marketplace moments.

  • Own a significant part of the Sport-Product Engine scope, working cross-functionally and self-sufficiently, driving project activity day to day and prioritizing your own workload and deliverables.
