WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As an Inventory Management Operations Analyst, you'll be a cross-functional voice ensuring our North America distribution centers has accurate, available, and healthy inventory. You will create and present inventory reports for our North America Fulfillment network, making data consumable across the organization. Additionally, you will participate on projects and strategic initiatives, using insights to assess and improve key performance indicators, helping improve Inventory Operations cross-functionally. Other responsibilities include driving improvements in reporting tools and collaborating with stakeholder teams on issue resolution.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:
This role is responsible for providing valuable insights while creating and analyzing data for North America Distribution Center Inventory operations. This includes creating metrics, dashboards/visuals, and data products to enable our operations partners to make data-based decisions. In this role you will be expected to consistently develop skills through training and mentorship to ensure you can meet long-term Nike strategies.
- Enhance monitoring, reporting, and analysis tools for inventory-related metrics.
- Provide commentary and analysis regarding inventory KPIs, using relevant data points and standard procedures to assess root cause, and propose solutions and improvements.
- Collaborate with Operations and Controlling teams to develop and/or influence Global Accounting and Operational policies (e.g., recognition and existence of inventory, accounting inventory policy, and operations best practices), transaction processes, systems, controls and compliance.
- Build & maintain strong partnerships across internal stakeholders to drive business results and resolve issues.
- Build and achieve consensus when discussing and presenting opportunities.
- Own, escalate, and resolve issues quickly – acting like an owner to drive team success.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:
Collaborates with Operations and Controlling teams to develop and/or influence Global Accounting and Operational policies (e.g., recognition and existence of inventory, accounting inventory policy, and operations best practices), transaction processes, systems, controls and compliance.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst or related work experience.
- Demonstrate successful ability to complete multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong project management, problem structuring, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualita analysis.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Experience in dashboard development using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Advanced skills in SQL, Database Management, and data blending tools such as Alteryx is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and data, and ERP systems is a plus.
- Understanding of retail value chains, inventory processes, and operations preferred.
