As an Account Planner for NA Sales Planning, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders across the Integrated Account Team, Internal Partners, and External Account, to support the bottoms up assortment plans at the key franchise level by BU / Category / Gender for a given wholesale account.

Pre-season (35%)
Build/refine a style-level plan based on retail strategies & opportunities; share insights with leadership to be incorporated into forecasting decisions (retail sales, receipts, inventory, margin, turn) (15%)
Drive Collaboration and include input from key stakeholders including the Account, Sales, Planning, Category, and Merchandising to drive one plan (10%)
Align with and make recommendations to Merchandising regarding seasonal flow strategies and opportunities (5%)
Incorporate the estimated impact of seasonal marketing stories and power placement (aisles, tables, etc) into plans (5%)

In-season (35%)
Create & manage monthly Ladder plans for Franchise/Key Initiatives and AA styles (15%)
Creation and Maintenance of Weekly / Monthly / Seasonal reporting aligned to business needs (15%)
Identify potential opportunities and / or risks in the business against inventory plans; develop actionable recommendations for execution (5%)

Post-season (30%)
Develop business review vs. plan and LY - sales, margin, inventory, and turn (5%)
Share business review with account, account team and internal cross functional partners and provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for future season planning (10%)
Review comp door and new door performance (5%)
Recap the performance of the assortment include average weekly sell-through and SKU productivity of key item/franchises (5%)
Recap performance of marketing and seasonal stories and proactively provide insights for future planning (5%)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Fashion, Marketing or a related field
2+ years' experience in Buying, Planning, Allocation and/or Vendor; 2+ Sales for a multi-store retailer; 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
Basic understanding of retail math and gross margin profitability planning
Ability to create monthly reports, style-level sales plans, track promotional calendar/events and pre-meeting prep
Strong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team
Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred
Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
Advanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables, etc
Experience with planning software/tools and merchandise management systems is preferred
Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners
