Who are we looking for?

You're a senior leader with expertise in more than one design competency. Beyond pushing pixels, you influence the team and the studio with your art direction and design strategy. You manage multiple teams and designers and are excellent at presenting the team's work and strategy to creative leadership.

You're a collaborator through and through-working with brand marketing and brand design to create and deliver high-caliber solutions to complex problems. You get the creative process and are an expert at quickly understanding and articulating a problem. You give clear, timely and effective feedback to Senior Designers and can respond and address feedback from leadership.

Who will you work with?

The Nike Digital Design Flagship Team is redefining Nike's digital marketplace to deliver innovative consumer experiences. Our team is responsible for delivering-from vision to execution-a unified, premium experience across Nike.com and the Nike App that removes friction and creates brand distinction. We partner with a variety of product and engineering teams as we design the core consumer journeys and user experiences for membership,
discovery, shopping and omni-channel-seamlessly across platforms.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Lead, concept and design incredibly polished work that represents the Nike brand through storytelling, presentations, art direction, visual direction, UX, 2D visual comps, prototypes and everything in between
• Use Nike's distinct visual language to establish a holistic look and feel across all the pieces of a project
• Inspire new ways of thinking and explore the unknown using fresh and unique
approaches to design problems
• Lead and run large projects on the team that require multiple levels of coordination and direction
• Serve as the main point of contact and guidance when working with external agencies

**This position requires candidates to submit an online portfolio**







  • 6+ years agency, in-house or start-up design experience and interactive work
  • 2+ years of Art Director experience leading design projects
  • A Bachelor's degree in design, advertising, art direction or a related field
  • Excellent visual design skills in typography, composition, motion and systems design plus a deep understanding of Sketch, Adobe CC and Keynote
  • A mastery of visual language and how photography, video, color, typography, etc. work together
