Responsibilities:

As an Automation Engineer in the Reliability/Quality organization you'll find yourself immersed in fast-paced projects crossing a wide range of technologies and experiences. We'll ask you to take a strong, consumer-focused view of every deliverable and, through collaboration, be responsible for consistent and reliable delivery of awesome software solutions.

You'll focus on enabling continuous testing for NDE across all platforms, technologies, and domains resulting in consistent, scalable, quality business solutions. We will ask you to take a strong, consumer-focused view of every deliverable and through collaboration with your peers and partner engineering teams your work will influence quality automation strategies across Nike rapidly evolving ecosystem.

You'll need to be flexible and adaptable because our world changes daily; you will spend most of your time partnering with our engineering teams delivering automation for Nike's Moble applications from the Nike App to SNKRs to Adapt. You will be passionately pragmatic, sincerely savvy and a world-class diplomat capable of negotiation, reinvention, and smart compromise.

  • Excellent knowledge of mobile software QA processes and methodologies
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in a software QA engineer role
  • Hands-on experience developing automation suites that leverage XCode, Swift, Kotlin, Espresso and Android Studio is required
  • Hands-on experience delivering automation with a focus on Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
  • Strong collaborative skills to work across myriad stakeholder group to translate goals and objectives into delivery strategies
  • Comfortable and competent in developing internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and improve responsiveness
  • Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in Agile/Devops SDLC
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies and debugging tools
  • Experience in developing test plans, assessing risk, writing defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting
  • Self motivated, independent, and proactive
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion for quality processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
