Description

As a digital buyer/merchandiser the nature of the work is focused on buying, presenting and merchandising product to consumers via Hurley.com. You will be part of the team responsible for collecting Hurley consumer insights, creating seasonal assortments, working through seasonal buys, and everything through to the presentation on site to consumers. You will help run a complex, year-round offense focused on seasonal assortments, events product, and in-season energy assortments. In addition, you will provide data and business analysis to help drive profitable growth across all business units, and to inform global, and channel-level assortments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create seasonal assortments
  • Action to ensure the correct products are online at the right time to meet seasonal, strategic, and marketing goals.
  • Maintain optimal on site merchandising to maximize PVR and conversion
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal website in stock rates
  • Manage product life cycles for digital business
  • Manage Hurley NA seasonal orders
  • Work with teams to track product to ensure seasonal and marketing timelines. 
  • Support team in other geos


Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience within merchandising/buying 
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and seasons
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners 
  • Proficient information seeking skills and a drive for results 
  • Excellent attention to details as often working through six seasons simultaneously
  • Ability to influence and build consensus across various functions 
  • Extremely proficient in Excel
  • Experience with MMX, Full Circle, Adobe Analytics a plus
  • Travel up to 10%
