Nike's Consumer Direct Offense is designed to serve the athlete faster and more personally, at scale, led by digital. With focused growth through key categories, this new offense will connect the Nike Brand and products with consumers in new and more powerful ways. At the heart of the Consumer Direct Offense is Nike's membership program that provides member-only access to the products and experiences members love, matched to their individual preferences and behavior patterns. Our mission is to create the world's most distinctive membership program that accelerates consumer connections while driving growth and profitability for the Nike Brand.

The Role: We are looking for a leader to join the North America Membership team as the Director, Membership Marketing. This leader will drive member marketing across physical and digital channels and bringing membership to live for our members through highly integrated plans throughout our seasons, brand moments, and in a 365-always on offense. The Membership Marketing team's role is to market the NikePlus membership program, marketing the benefits that come along with your membership, and market to members seasonally & 365 with the express goals of driving member awareness, acquisition and retention. This leader will obsess opportunities to ensure members know that they're members, they'll feel like members, and want to share NikePlus with others.

Ideal backgrounds for this role include leaders with expertise in driving forecasting, planning, and operations across digital and B+M channels. Candidates should have a good understanding of technology and process improvement methods, as well as the ability to effectively communicate strategy, requirements and capabilities to cross functional teams. The right candidate will have the ability to consistently deliver impact while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships. We are looking for candidates who thrive in fast paced and complex environments and who can create structure from ambiguity, with a desire to be at the center of a massive transformation of Nike's digital and direct capabilities. Flexibility, drive, and communication capabilities will be critical characteristics for this role.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Define the NA strategy for marketing the membership program, benefits, and retention journeys
• Market & brand the NikePlus membership program in NA to create awareness and drive conversations and pathways to join the swoosh fam
• Market the benefits of being a member across relevant digital & physical touchpoints (member exclusive product, expert guidance, one-of-a-kind experiences, and access to sport, onboarding, birthday, etc.)
• Inform seasonal member-led storytelling and content creation by integrating membership marketing into key NA seasonal (CODE) milestones
• Partner with category & digital category teams to market the program & benefits in relevant and contextual ways to show up in bold, distinctive ways for members during brand and sport defining moments
• Create consumer journeys across digital and physical experiences and obsess the moments, scripting and execution of the NikePlus value proposition and benefits to drive awareness, acquisition and retention
• Identify opportunities to improve how we market the NA Membership program
• Drive learning and transformation with stakeholders across the matrix
• Lead & coach two direct reports

Success for this role requires the establishment of a best-in-class membership program in North America.

• 8-12 years relevant experience; marketing and/or brand management in an omnichannel environment is highly preferred
• Education in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Consumer Psychology
• Proven track record of influencing leaders and teams to execute integrated marketing or brand campaigns for membership programs and omnichannel commerce at major global brands
• Deep understanding of the landscape of membership programs and the drivers of commercial and operation success
• Strong marketing campaign management experience
• Experience with digital commerce & content platforms is a plus
