Nike Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Nike shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike's diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.

Process & Solutions is a business function within the Global Treasury organization with 5 peer traditional and non-traditional Treasury capability teams.

As Director of Process and Solutions, your primary responsibility will be to define and implement innovative and scalable Treasury business capabilities, reporting and data foundation platforms to power business partners. You'll bring leadership and expertise to an enterprise system implementation and influence the organization in deploying core foundational and transformational capabilities.

You must be a self-starter, flexible thinker, and strong communicator who is comfortable learning quickly and connecting the dots across multiple teams. You will need those skills as you work across multiple functions within Nike's matrixed organization.

The ideal candidate must be able to comfortably interpret business needs into insightful analytical solutions that will enable strategic, data-driven decision making. Success in this role will depend on your ability to quickly build relationships with colleagues and drive to rigorous, actionable deliverables.

Key responsibilities:
  • Anticipate, identify and facilitate the solution to enterprise issues concerning critical business needs
  • Own relationships with key business stakeholders to understand and anticipate current and future business needs
  • Develop Treasury strategies and provide vision and direction to partners
  • Effectively communicate with leadership across organizations, both influencing the end-to-end solutions and protecting the interest of the department
  • Build trust and drive business adoption of your solutions with stakeholders
  • Collaborate across business partners to gather and align business requirements and success criteria
  • Direct multiple teams of professionals to solve challenges and opportunities; allocate resources to ensure strategic and operational objectives are met


  • Team leadership
  • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in increasing areas of responsibility focused heavily on Treasury and/or operational excellence; preferably within a large, complex, multinational corporation
  • Proven track record of senior-level involvement in a major Treasury system implementation
  • Proven ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers, preferably inclusive of navigating a large corporation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, including meeting facilitation and presentations
  • A strong understanding of technical solutions, data and design concepts
  • Experience with working in an Agile delivery team
  • Dedicated to deployment of process improvement to mitigate risk and add value.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with ability to engage in, prioritize, and perform multiple ongoing tasks.
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background check.

Education:
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Technology, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Math, Economics, Business

Skills:
  • Treasury SAP experience is highly desirable
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to question the status quo, identify opportunities, define and lead change
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence decision making through excellent communication and presentation media
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in an easily understandable way
  • Finance acumen and a focus on measurable business impact
