We are working in close collaboration with our internal teams, external partners, organizations, experienced professionals and others to strengthen impact. Together we deliver broader social and community-focused initiatives that support our Company's Purpose-based objectives.

The EMEA SCI Team delivers an innovative portfolio of programmatic investments; engages in complex partnerships with community stakeholders, and partners closely with the brand to deliver transformational experiences for the kid, the community, and our consumer. We lead with a focus on Made to Play, Nike's commitment to addressing the physical inactivity crisis facing this generation. SCI also plays a pivotal role in helping coordinate the Purpose strategy connecting with the global D&I and Sustainability teams to provide guidance and functional support.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
The Director for Paris/North is a critical member of the EMEA Social and Community Impact team as well as the Nike territory team focused on delivering impact to the community and the business.

The SCI Director will lead and guide local teams in managing a portfolio of partnerships and engaging employees in the community across Paris/North
This includes but is not limited to:

Synthesizing local insights to understand the opportunities and barriers to getting kids active;
  • Developing community investment strategies;
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships;
  • Engaging partners with aligned goals to implement programs.
This role will be responsible for all aspects of portfolio management in Nike's system for approvals, contracting, reporting and budgeting. It is expected that this person will establish strong connections to a variety of Nike functions and external stakeholders, while identifying opportunities for integration and collaboration. This role will also be responsible, in partnership with local teams (including HR), for employee community engagement, connecting volunteers with local and accessible community programs in key cities. Finally, the director will help local teams plan for powerful storytelling, internally and externally.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Based in Paris, this role reports to SCI Senior Director for EMEA, and collaborates closely with Nike France GM and leadership team. The role will partner with Brand Marketing, Nike Direct, Communications, Government & Public Affairs, Human Resources and others.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in Social Impact/Corporate Responsibility/Non-profit sector;
  • Knowledge of the social impact, corporate responsibility and sports sectors, especially community- and school-based sports programming;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work across multiple different projects at one time, supporting different initiative tracks;
  • Proven capabilities to lead cross-functional initiatives by networking, building relations, taking a collaborative approach and influencing others;
  • Structuring and managing multi-sector partnerships, including with government, NGOs, sporting associations and multi-lateral groups;
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills with proven ability to structure and deliver content that inspires and engages others;
  • Fluent in writing and speaking French and English;
