To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day.

Core Accountabilities



The E2E Inventory Management Senior Manager - Allocation is responsible for the Nike Direct (NDDC & Nike Direct Stores) end to end inventory management and manages the entire inventory life cycle to ensure inventories are at the maximized level of efficiency. He / she leads the allocation team to ensure merchandise are delivered according to market demands with the best profits. The candidate should have strong analytical, communication and leadership skills, capable to influence others and is experiences in building / refining existing processes.

  • Lead the E2E inventory process, meet consumer demands, ensure smooth stock flows, evaluate and define stock goals
  • Allocation functional lead including management and development of merchandise analysts process and system improvement (e.g. Just Enough)
  • Work with supply chain in leading various global projects, such as Multi Nodes
  • Analyze sales and inventory at store level to identify risks and opportunities; make recommendations for rebalancing to maximize sales and margin
  • Manage receipts vs budget with allocation and planning teams
  • Manage forward looking receipt flow vs. plan; coordinate flow with business partners (Planners, Buyers, Store Operations, etc.)
  • Serve as a leader on cross functional teams for the Allocation team
  • Develop allocation strategies to improve sales, in stock and profit
  • Provide DC forecasts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, working with team to ensure accuracy
  • Develop and publish best practices; testing and training; support systems enhancement initiatives
  • Provide weekly reporting and ad hoc analysis to the Planning and Allocations team and cross functional departments (e.g. in-season sales, receipts, inventory, and projections)
  • Train and develop new allocators on processes and systems, as well as leadership opportunities and team building
  • Lead weekly cross functional meeting, including review of store reporting, inventory dates, shipping calendar, allocation issues, and chain inventory position
  • Serve in a Supervisory role for allocators providing leadership, direction and coaching as needed

Preferred Qualifications

- 5 years over experiences in allocation, inventory management, buying, and/or planning experience preferably from retail industries

-intermediate to professional in excel and power point
