The Employee Engagement Survey Manager will lead the design, build and delivery of Nike, Inc.'s annual all-employee engagement survey and engagement pulse survey. This person will report to the Employee Engagement Director - who leads the overall strategy of Employee Engagement at Nike, Inc.-and work closely with the Employee Engagement Specialist-who manages workstreams within the Employee Engagement program and provides general support.

There is a high degree of collaboration with partners and stakeholders across HR and global functions, as well as external vendor partners. In addition to the leading the survey, the Employee Engagement Survey Manager will lead design, build and delivery of survey reports and results, support enterprise-wide analysis and insights work, and consult on readiness of managers, HR partners and employees.

Survey Design
  • Content design and framework of survey (survey items, survey instructions, order of items, number of items per screen, closing statement, etc.); Functionality and usability of survey
  • Ensure a consistent and Nike-brand experience for survey takers across all functions, locations, etc. Deliver a survey with validated items that will
  • Key partners: OE, TM, Comms, HR Analytics

Survey Reports and Reporting Strategy
  • Review previous, current report designs (standard, custom, exec, etc.) and strategy for who receives what reports; Manages data requirements to produce reports
  • Lead edits to reporting templates
  • Lead build and delivery of reports
  • Key partners: Perceptyx, Data Strategy Manager, HR Analytics
  • Support training/readiness for leaders, HR partners and support partners

Survey Reporting Dashboard
  • Review current dashboard design, data, permissions and usability, alongside feedback and learning from previous administrations to inform current strategy and design
  • Lead edits to reporting dashboard (content, data, permissions, etc.)
  • Lead training/readiness for users
  • Key Partners: Perceptyx, Data Strategy Manager, Graphic Design

Consult on and support the finalization of engagement survey and pulse survey items
  • Review current and previous items in relation to results, validation, feedback, etc.
  • Recommend changes, additions for All-Employee Survey and Pulse Survey
  • Key partners: with HR Analytics and Data Strategy Manager

Participates in enterprise analysis and decisions on key messaging for executives and employees about survey results
  • The Employee Engagement Director will lead this work with the OE VP and T&OE VP
  • The Employee Engagement Survey Manager

Consults on Action Planning Strategy and Process

  • Bachelor's Degree in field related to survey research, statistics, social science; IO Psych degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience and minimum 2 years of experience directly related
  • Training and experience in research methods, survey methodology, and statistics, marketing and consumer behavior, and social science courses, such as psychology, sociology, and economics.
