As our Equipment Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of Equipment Project Managers, Controls and Automation Engineers, and Technicians to drive against some of the engineering strategic priorities for the Air business. This role is accountable for the performance and results of the team. Team responsibilities include new equipment design and procurement, automation projects, PLC programming and integration, and equipment troubleshooting. Success is defined by on-time delivery of projects against overarching Nike and AirMI timelines. You will provide technical guidance to the team and handle priorities to address resource and operational challenges in alignment with a global equipment strategy. You will be responsible for maximizing the potential of the team through consistent mentoring, training, and opportunities for professional development. You will help establish a future vision for the Project Management function as we widen the scope of the work within the engineering function.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other manufacturing-related degree plus 5 years related experience or
• Associate's degree in related field plus 6 years related experience or
• 7 years related experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing including controls, automation, PLCs, and industrial equipment installations.
• Validated ability to work with associates of all levels including managers, engineers, supervisors, maintenance, and machine operators
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex information in a simple, easily understood manner to diverse groups of stakeholders
• Ability to delegate and hold team accountable for results
• Possess a detailed and methodical approach to problem solving
• Validated project management and documentation skills using various software tools.
Preferred additional qualifications:
• Expertise in referencing OSHA/ANSI/NFPA/NEC documentation into equipment specifications
