As a Product Architect in Finance and Procurement Technology, you will drive solution design across multiple product teams to meet Nike's Treasury and Payables needs across its domestic and foreign operations. Nike operates in over 50 countries around the world and has bold growth plans. This growth necessitates applications and platforms that can scale effectively and enable future business strategies.

This role will be part of the Treasury and Payables Solution Management team, and will work very closely with business partners and peers on other global technology teams. You will lead the technology aspects of discussions with business partners in Finance, and will be accountable for validating requirements and developing solution options to meet business needs.

You will be expected to provide guidance on how best to leverage existing enterprise platforms together with new technologies to create the most effective solutions. You will be responsible for integrating business requirements and developing solution options, comparing the options and ultimately making recommendations on the best technical solution that meets the needs and aligns with Nike's Technology standards.

This role will require collaboration with subject matter experts in technology and the business, and cross-technology partnerships. Ultimately, you will be accountable for the architectural runway that is critical to agile execution.

We are looking for someone that has strong SAP ERP skills, experience with SAAS solutions, AWS, APIs, business rules engines (like Pega), Invoicing solutions (like Coupa), and agile software development tools. Ideally the person will have experience in the areas of Treasury, including Capital Management and Foreign Currency hedging, as well as Direct Payables (Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing and payments).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop iterative solution architecture in support of the product teams to ensure effective Agile delivery of the products

- Understand the business objectives of Finance leadership and the solution context to maximize business value and return on investment

- Partner with Enterprise architecture to leverage, support, and influence domain roadmaps, reference architectures, and enterprise platforms

- Keep current on emerging and mature industry trends across technologies to inform product roadmaps and ensure best-in-class solutions approaches

- Identify opportunities for proofs of concept to support application and platform modernization

- Maintain the global application inventory on a continuous basis and refreshes the application roadmaps on a quarterly basis to reflect any changes/shifts in strategy/objectives

- Work closely with Procurement to establish appropriate legal contracts, pricing and contract negotiations and governance structure when considering buy vs build

- Provide architecture recommendations, options and pros/cons on potential application changes to the core platforms and the related software applications as part of the solution design process for new projects

- Collaborate with other technology teams (Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Platform Operations, and Engineering) and ensure all solutions align with the Nike's technology standards; Partner with multiple product teams to deliver the end to end solution

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. Master's degree in related field preferred.

- At least 5-7 years' experience in Finance portion of ERP projects and programs

- 3+ years experience in scaled Agile delivery and cloud architecture preferred

- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and handle and resolve conflict.

- Validated presentation and facilitation skills.

- Strong ability to absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and business audiences.

- Demonstrated expertise of building a consensus across business partners and technology leaders, and influencing successful outcomes.

- Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.

- Experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment.

- Specific experience in SAP, Cash Management SW, and/or FX Hedging technology suite preferred
