Nike Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Nike shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike's diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.
Description

Will provide a global business planning department with advanced financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning, including preparation of qualitative and quantitative financial models in Beaverton, OR. Will participate in discussions and initiatives across departments and provide input into global business unit planning. Will develop internal and external partnerships that leverage resources and improve business unit responsiveness. Will prepare and distribute financial analysis of pertinent information to evaluate progress against strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, which will also support external financial decisions. Will interpret and distribute financial results with business managers, including trends, issues, and opportunities in order to drive actionable responses. Will evaluate and monitor monthly progress against budgets and targets, and work with managers to ensure accountability. This includes monitoring that working capital is efficiently and effectively being used. Will perform financial analyses that aid in decision-making processes to improve profitability. Will participate in strategic and business planning processes and provide input into business unit planning. Will analyze new business opportunities, including scenario and investment analysis. Will develop and monitor metrics focused on profit and loss, balance sheet, and free cash flow. Will generate budgets that incorporate strategic business plan objectives and appropriate assumptions. Will drive forecasting and performance management of current fiscal year performance, proactively keep management informed of results, and lead course correction actions when necessary. Will lead the three-year strategic and annual planning processes. Will proactively develop insights to highlight and influence priorities; deliver timely and relevant analyses to support decision making and catalyze action across the globe. Will create investment prioritization and review framework to ensure that expected return on investment are achieved and deliver on strategic goals. Will partner and collaborate across the function to develop a dynamic business planning function. Will leverage industry leading commerce metrics to institute key performance indicators based on performance review and analysis of results. Will assist in the development and enhancement of financial planning and analysis tools and systems necessary to facilitate on demand modeling, forecasting and planning. Will have three to six direct subordinates. Will engage in ten percent or less domestic and international travel.


Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance. Will also except a Master's degree in accounting, business, or finance. Experience: Bachelor's degree and eight years of overall progressive experience in the area of financial management. Will also accept a master's degree and six years of overall progressive experience in the area of financial management. Skills/Requirements4 years of experience: (1) partnering with cross functional leadership to align marketplace strategies to translate profitability goals; (2) team management; (3) ensuring product lines deliver against growth and profitability targets; (4) leading long-range planning processes and providing direction and transparency to growth and profitability targets; (5) elevating and driving financial best practices across the function to elevate profitability; (6) leveraging current marketplace insights to assess risks and opportunity to operational and financial plans; (7) driving recommendations to mitigate risk and deliver upside; (8) leading and facilitating discipline investment prioritization within financial guardrails; and (9) tracing and delivering accountability to financial plans.
