Nike Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Nike shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike's diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.
Description

As our Finance Manager supporting Digital Demand Sensing, you'll participate in NIKE's financial planning process, ensuring optimal investment against an Enterprise level strategic initiative.

You'll develop cross-functional partnerships, develop and prepare a Nike, Inc. level financial model underpinning a transformative shift in our business. You'll have the opportunity to work across all geographies, the Global Demand & Supply Management team and the Digital Demand Sensing technical experts. Additionally, you will distribute timely and insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against strategic plan, budget, and forecast.

Specifically, you will drive the following areas:

  • Develop financial models / frameworks to guide enterprise processes and thinking around investment and returns
  • Enhance internal reporting against key dimensions of both spend and value creation to inform executive level governance
  • Identify appropriate measures of success / key KPIs to assess performance against key strategies and investment
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with finance and business partners (including Geography Finance, Strategy & Operations)
  • Create cohesive storylines based on analytical long-term models to influence decisions through critical planning milestones



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
  • 2 years' additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • MBA, CPA or CMA is strongly preferred
  • Advanced level degree or accounting certification may be considered in lieu of 1 year experience
  • 6+ years' experience in financial reporting, financial planning, strategic planning and annual budgeting
  • Experience in a Fortune 500 consumer products or other multi-national firm is preferred
  • Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for executive-level personnel
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a large organization
  • Proven strong financial analysis skills; technical corporate finance, accounting, and valuation skills
  • Superior written and oral presentation skills; ability to communicate and present to senior management (PowerPoint proficient)
  • Strong proficiency with financial analysis tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Experience with SAP (COPA, BW, ECCS) is preferred
  • Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for senior management
  • Experience in investment banking, management consulting, or financial planning and analysis at a large corporation is a plus
  • Ability to pass a 7 year background check
