The Merchandising team has the unique ability to see beyond trends to identify what's next to deliver the right product to the right places at the right time and price.

At Nike, we are determined to deliver continuous improvement in how we serve and inspire Athletes*. As our Global Merchandising Operations Activation Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling seasonal execution and continuous innovation across the Global Merchandising process - specifically focused on supporting Global Merchandising Footwear teams. You will help define and lead the Merchandising process, tools and initiatives to strengthen the way we work, plan and execute.

Leading with a digital mindset, you will engage the Global Merchandising community to gather insights and identify opportunities to improve seasonal execution. You will partner on strategic initiatives and projects on behalf of the Merchandising function to bring our growth strategies to life. You will drive innovative solutions to complex questions that have a broad impact on the business. You will lead the engagement model with Global Merchandising Footwear team leaders and expert communities, and you will be the hub to connect with cross functional operational partners to drive process innovation.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
  • Bachelor's degree required, two additional years of work experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years overall experience in merchandising, operations, analytics, management consulting or a related field
  • Passionate about process' potential in improving planning, execution and work/life balance
  • Demonstrated ability to partner on cross-functional teams supporting large scale change across an organization.
  • Ability to problem solve complex issues
  • Experience participating in initiatives/projects and achieving milestones and objectives
  • Excellent communications, relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Ability to synthesize/simplify information into clear/visual tools
  • Ability to embrace and implement change
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Nike Merchandising process and systems a plus
