As a Global Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) Director in Nike's Global Procurement function, you will be leading the SRM strategy and execution for Nike's portfolio of Logistics partners as well as a dynamic and innovative team. This role will frequently collaborate with Nike's Global Ops and Logistics team and will develop, deploy and manage vendor performance / compliance standards / innovation and capabilities, as well as drive continuity across the geographies.

In this role you will:

  • Utilize your supply chain, supplier relationship management expertise to deploy logistics SRM initiatives with internal/external supply chain leaders
  • Need deep experience on logistics processes and landscape of the Logistics Sector (Freight Forwarding, Ocean Carriers, 3PL, Last Mile, Technology) to influence and develop suppliers to deliver Nike Capabilities and drive consistency based on Nike Strategic requirements
  • Collaborate with global and geography teams to ensure the highest level and consistency of vendor and financial performance, HSE & Labor practices and technology is maintained across Nike Inc.'s suppliers, and actively seek their input and perspective when making improvements to existing tools/processes, solving problems and making decisions
  • Develop risk assessment tools to support sourcing processes to collaborate on assessing risks in sourcing decisions and the impact of those decisions to optimize time; effort; value and risk through strategic partnerships
  • Provide support, advice and guidance to managers, and lead on areas such as market analysis, supplier development, tender processes, data analysis and negotiation to ensure savings are delivered within a best practice framework following Sourcing processes and governance
  • Work with Finance to devise, collect and analyze spend and market data in support of procurement strategies.
  • Articulate and track the value of SRM over time and bring new ideas and approaches from external sources to keep the SRM program fresh, relevant and efficient as well as develop programs to incentivize innovation and value.
  • Be expected to navigate the Nike "Matrix" of internal stakeholders and collaboratively make fact-based decisions informed by collective expertise, strategic business priorities, stakeholder input, and most importantly data driven metrics
  • Structure, Plan and Facilitate strategy session with strategic logistics partners and internal NIKE stakeholders (e.g. project, performance, compliance updates and reviews)
  • Develop a new supplier recognition program and set up and run an annual supplier recognition program
  • Develop and execute project plans leveraging project management tools/methods in collaboration with the supply chain sourcing team as well as key global and geography specific logistics stakeholders
  • Build and lead transition to ensure business change readiness with stakeholders (e.g. roles/responsibilities, processes, tools, systems)


WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Industrial Engineering, plus a minimum of 10 years of practical experience in Logistics / Supply Chain, or the equivalent combination of experience and/or education.

  • Proven experience delivering value across Operational performance, contracting and setting-up service levels, pricing models, supplier relationship development, supplier performance and compliance management (Solution Design across multiple logistics requirements)

  • Minimum 5 years practical compliance experience leading, influencing, and executing HSE, Labor, Financial, Technology and Resilience

  • Proven track record in managing business partner relationships

  • Experience in transformational leadership concepts, project management, change management, and theory of change in a matrixed organization

  • Experience developing, defining and implementing vendor performance metrics

  • Problem Solving and Analytical mindset

  • Ability to maintain flexible approach and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines

  • Experience in leading cross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual teams (including functionally diverse work)

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (including ability to define problems and lead teams in solving them)

  • High level of proficiency in using desktop tools for communication and analysis, including MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Others
