Advanced Innovation, Product Development

Description

As an Innovator I, you will develop new performance based Global Football Equipment solutions that result in growth opportunities and competitive advantages in the marketplace by collaborating with cross functional teams. Through collaboration with designers, researchers, developers and other engineers you will contribute to the performance, aesthetic, manufacturability and testing of new innovations. You will use concept sketches, 3D design software, prototyping skills, engineering knowledge, and hands on experience to design product and/or test fixture designs. You will demonstrate deep problem-solving skills through an ability to deliver multiple innovative solutions to complex problems.

We expect this person to be a excellent engineer who can ideate, innovate and manage the development of complex dynamic systems through collaboration in a fast-paced environment. As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following key attributes:
  • Demonstrated passion for advanced innovation, product creation, performance testing and manufacturing. 
  • Knowledge of using CAD, Matlab, FEA and statistical analysis 
  • Use of CAD programs to create product solutions and design/build/test new evaluation methods to further research 
  • Passion to synthesize data explaining equipment and player performance
  •  Compile reports and summaries of test and simulation results 
  • Thrives in an environment with ambiguity and changes in priorities 
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences and at all levels within the organization 
  • Excellent analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple competing projects 
  • Ability to work with and influence cross functional teams


Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, including 3+ years' experience in mechanical design or engineering, or other similar function 
  • Expert user in parametric CAD software. SOLIDWORKS and Rhino experience preferred. 
  • A demonstrated portfolio of work, with clear examples of engineering designs and problem-solving ability 
  • Knowledge of plastic or foam part and tooling design 
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organization skills
