Manufacturing & Engineering, Product Development

Description

As the Integrated Performance Senior Manager for Sustainable Manufacturing & Sourcing (SM&S), you will lead a team of 3 sustainability team members who are adept at visualizing information and delivering insights in big data environments. You will play an integral role in driving compliance and beyond compliance performance measurements and insights initiatives. You will assist in developing an Integrated Performance Management Framework strategy for Nike's Global Sourcing & Manufacturing (GSM) organization. The ideal candidate will have a sustainability background as well as strong experience in project management and performance monitoring & evaluation.  This candidate should be naturally analytical and have a strong eye for compiling both qualitative and quantitative data for multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization (reports, articles, case studies, highlight stories).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and strengthen monitoring, validation and evaluation procedures & protocols with suppliers through an integrated performance management framework
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on the effects and impact of sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure data system support and proper target setting and KPI development processes
  • Identify and address optimization opportunities across compliance and performance activities and reporting
  • Lead team of three sustainability managers, driving team unity, structure, and strategy



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Social Sciences, or Data Analytics Responsibility/Sustainability or a related field
  • MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' total experience (3 years' experience post MBA) in corporate development, business development, supply chain management, investment banking, management consulting, finance or related fields
  • 2 additional years' experience in lieu of an advanced degree
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support
  • Previous manufacturing or operations experience not mandatory but preferred
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures with varying stakeholders
  • Previous experience thinking strategically and implementing new operating models

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Strong collaboration & facilitation skills
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of external reports
  • Communication and influencing skills:  Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and influence at all levels in an organization and excel within teams. Highly proficient oral and written communicator demonstrated in sustainability domain. Effectively responds to inquiries from internal and external sources. Experience with presenting, coordinating, and organizing meetings and workshops
  • Leadership / Initiative:  Self-starter with excellent project and analytical skills.  An integrator, consensus builder, and results oriented.
  • Good judgment/poise:   Ability to handle and resolve problems and make informed decisions to be effective in a complex and fast paced changing environment.
  • Planning/Organizing:  Ability to effectively organize workload, handle a high volume of rapidly changing priorities, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines; proven ability to multi-task, excellent follow through skills
