Internship Goods Flow Planning

Internship opportunity from February 2020:

Minimum 3 months, with attendance at least 4 days a week

The ever-changing consumer demands make the world of logistics exciting, dynamic and full of fun opportunities. Nike-products from all over the world come together at the European Logistics Campus. Here these products are being sorted for delivery to customers in the EMEA region. Goods Flow Planning is crucial in planning the optimal flow of goods throughout the supply-chain, always with an eye on the consumer demands. Finding a balance between customer satisfaction, capacity, costs and sustainability is essential.

Ready?

As an intern at Goods Flow Planning, you'll have an opportunity to become a part of dynamic and inspirational team of specialists, analysts, planners, leads and managers, who work closely together to secure the E2E Supply Chain and guarantee customer satisfaction. You'll have the freedom to choose whether you'd like to tackle the daily challenges and activities, get to improve different processes or drive specific projects. To ensure your success and personal development, an inspiring coach will support you in your tasks throughout the internship. The main goal of your internship is to learn to understand, evaluate and document processes within the Goods Flow Planning. This will give you valuable insight and knowledge of the processes and systems in our Supply Chain. Lastly, you'll get to build your professional network and kick start your career in an international company!

While working at Nike your business suit stays in the closet, our informal dress code ensures an enthusiastic and casual work environment. We guarantee an internship with lots of freedom and space to grow, both professionally and personally! The internship is unpaid, but you can count on the reimbursement of your transportation costs as well as access to our Nike Retail Store. And of course, in order to stay on top of your game and push your physical boundaries you'll have access to all our local sport facilities (fitness, track & field, beach volleyball, tennis courts, soccer pitch).

Set?
  • You're currently following bachelor's or master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or in another related field, but most importantly you're interested in Supply Chain.
  • You have a critical eye for (logistics) processes and enjoy making suggestions for improvement.
  • Taking initiative with a focus on results is like a second nature to you, and you're able to work well as a part of a team as well as individually.
  • Energetic communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Go!

1. We'd love to hear from you, so send us your CV and cover letter and tell us why you should be our new teammate!

2. We're excited to meet you! In this round, you'll take a set of tests, be interviewed digitally or via phone and finally have a face-to-face conversation with the team.
