Will design and oversee a team on configuration, development, and operational support tasks for all aspects of the ServiceNow platform, including standard configuration, security, data management, reporting and integrations with third party applications while ensuring that data integrity and best practices are maintained in Beaverton, OR. Will work closely with process owners and stakeholders to design and deliver technical solutions via Scrum methodology that solve problems while supporting the long-term health of the ServiceNow platform. Will develop and maintain solutions using standard platform functionality, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, data policies, ACLs, UI actions, scripts, transform maps, workflows, form and list configuration with multiple views, and database views. Will engage in solution design and diagramming based on platform capability and stakeholder feedback. Will utilize experience with multiple major version upgrades and system patches and will explain the common upgrade issues caused by custom development. Will rely on an understanding of security in the instance and will know when to use client vs server (or both) methods for optimizing user experience while still maintaining system performance and data integrity. Will work in a team development environment where multiple developers utilize the same path-to-production and release cadence. Will activate ServiceNow plugins; and understand when it is appropriate to use an OOB plugin versus custom development. Will perform troubleshooting and benchmarking. Will author and maintain technical documentation. Will use analytical skills to investigate issues, find solutions to problems, and improve processes. Will utilize an Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work. Will configure performance analytics (indicator source, indicator, job, breakdown, widget, and dashboard). Will configure discovery with OOB configuration. Will configure custom probes and sensors in discovery. Will configure applications to work in the ServiceNow mobile applications. Will create and maintain a Service Portal. Will create scripted REST API, and know when it's appropriate to use an OOB API or integration methods.

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or engineering. Experience: Seven years of overall progressive experience in Software development Skills/Requirements:. 2 years of experience: (1) IT Service management administration; (2) scripting languages, including Java, Javascript, Python, and SQL; (3) creating databases and maintaining databases including MySQL; (4) configuration management; (5) software tools, including ServiceNow; (6) tool integration from ServiceNow to external tools, including Azure, Bluecat, Jira, Microsoft Team, and Version One; and (7) creating and maintaining reporting and dashboards.
