Role Scope and Responsibilities




We are looking for a person to grow with our fast paced organization. If you are experienced professional and ambitious about a career in strategic sales and business development the position as Key Account Executive is a great starting place for your future career in Nike.

The role is a key account/strategic account role in the Nike sales organization. You will lead and implement the sales & category strategy for one of our most strategic retail partners to maximize profitability for the company and the account. We work in a matrix organization and expect a lot of personal leadership as well as high collaboration skills. With our retail partners we set out to change the market place to even better serve the consumers of the future; this requires functional skill, deep business understanding and passionate determination. Working in Nike Sales is exciting, rewarding and definitely not just another job.

Work responsibilities include;
  • Own and lead the category account relationship
  • Lead the development of strategic account plans with the customer through close collaboration
  • Manage the marketplace by ensuring best presentation of stories and product
  • Develop seasonal assortments, forecasts and scenario plans for the account using category, account, brand and marketplace knowledge
  • Leverage understanding of account competitors and the marketplace; using analytics, insights, and a brand management focus to adjust and drive business plans through your account
  • Multi-functional key stakeholder engagement and alignment




Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Min 3 years of experience of key account management or other sales management responsibilities
  • Sales experience from sporting goods, consumer goods or consulting industries
  • Experience and knowledge of digital/omni-channel sales
  • Experience and knowledge of Nordic marketplace
  • Analytical skills and experience of working with analytics and strategy
  • A self-starter who excels in both team and individual working environment's
  • Experience of leading projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Leadership identity skills with the desire to motivate and educate others
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English & Swedish both verbal and written communication
