About Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) SEA&I


Launched in 2015, NDDC SEA&I (Asia Hub) directly serves to bring inspiration and innovation to every Athlete* by enabling consumers to purchase Nike footwear, apparel and equipment through Nike.com and swiftly delivered.

As a premium direct to consumer distribution channel for Nike Inc, the digital commerce team is responsible for achieving traffic, conversion and sales targets and operates across key functions to ensure consumers in the 7 countries in South East Asia, India, and Taiwan are served with the best of Nike products and consumer experience.

About the position

Reporting directly to the GM of NDDC, the SNKRS/Launch Business Manager will bring to life the SNKRS and launch product assortment, delivering a digital shopping experience in a way that puts the consumer first while driving revenue, energy and margin. You will be immersed in the unique culture of limited edition Sneakers and the ability to foresee future trends and popularity as well as empathize with these consumers will be the key to success.

By specifically focusing on the high heat footwear business you will execute the strategy to give consumers a compelling reason to purchase and by constantly optimizing the consumer journey you will drive consumer energy around limited edition products. You will also manage the authoring and publishing of product and brand contents on timely manner as well as lead membership execution on the platform.

Finally, you will build partnerships with teammates in Merchandising, Planning, Sales (IMP), Marketing, Consumer Services, Ops/Experience to deliver a premium online experience to our consumers. This role will also have interactions with various counterparts within Nike's World Headquarters location to provide the best possible launch experience to our passionate sneaker-heads consumers as fun, fast, fair experience.

Responsibilities

Define and Achieve Goals:



  • Drive the Launch business by achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly goals across Nike.com and SNKRS platforms.


  • Partner with merch and planning teams to review assortment, optimize allocation and depth according to anticipated consumer demand.

  • Partner with the analytics team to identify optimization opportunities on user experience, navigation and journey.

  • Provide weekly and seasonal business reporting; what worked, didn't work and next steps as part of a regular hind sighting process.

  • Weekly trading to react on business trends, provide recommendations to improve sales, margin and conversion rate by responding to consumer needs.




  • Lead Launch Execution:



  • Sets and owns the digital run of show together with cross functional partners on creation of digital content and marketing plans from strategy to execution, integrating commerce and brand to deliver a solid core content offering.


  • Drive cross-functional operational excellence of on-time delivery of content that is inspirational, enriching, insightful, and entertaining.

  • Lead and oversee the joint operation of each high heat product launch in close partnership with the NDDC Operations team and assigned Tech Producer.

  • Partner with local and global SNKRS team members to enhance consumer journey, any production support needed & localize the experience where applicable.


  • Drive Growth Strategy



  • Envision the overall growth of the Sneakerhead community in SEA&I countries and the role SNKRS plays to galvanize influencers, inspire consumers and power its growth.


  • Maintain great partnerships and earn prioritization with internal stakeholders that drive the long term growth of the business, including Digital Product, Category, and Global teams.

  • Lead and evangelize the consumer to gain technical improvements such as special feature testing, call out system bugs and potential issues.

  • Manage any agency engagement and relationships as needed.

  • Continue to keep a pulse on the community and marketplace and derive and action on strategic digital merchandising/business ideas, tactics, and consumer experiences.


  • Requirements



    • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in digital commerce, digital marketing, brand marketing, or related field


    • 5 years experience with digital web and business data analysis

    • Logical reasoning, troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills under high pressure situations

    • A strong affinity for limited edition Sneakers, experience/knowledge of the community in South East Asia-the ability to relate to Sneakerheads and grow the community

    • Strong focus on results and ability to take effective decision

    • Ability and desire to work at both the strategic and tactical levels

    • Cross-functional project management skills, self-starter and accustomed to leading projects with little supervision

    • Demonstrated attention to detail and process excellence

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to create connection with multiple stakeholders

    • Fluency in English with additional languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, or Thai will be a bonus
