Nike Visual Merchandising & styling Coach (Nike Town London)

As the Visual Merchandising and Styling Coach in our store, you'll be responsible for establishing consumer centric strategies, plans, and processes that ensure the highest level of execution of the Nike Visual Merchandising and Styling direction and principles within your floor(department). 

Key responsibilities:
  • Set the strategy and direction for implementation of department Visual Merchandising and Styling and retail marketing standards.
  • Adopt and implement global Visual Merchandising and Styling standards for relevant categories and ensure execution.
  • Manage implementation and maintenance (Visual Merchandising and Styling change outs, retail marketing execution, styling projects, etc) of category experiences and controlled spaces throughout the department.
  • Analysing business results and work in partnership with floor management.
  • Oversee the execution of key Category initiatives and seasonal strategies.
  • Manage resources and executes Visual Merchandising and Styling guidelines for department refits and events.
  • Manage a core team and set individual goals to link to the overall brand and business priorities. Coaches staff, supports development, supports in profiling and making hiring decisions and drives performance management, recognition and rewards.
  • Monitor department to ensure visual standards are met and visual merchandising and styling is consistent; facilitate feedback process with store leadership and Visual Merchandising and Styling Team.
  • Execute training strategies to ensure department personnel have adequate knowledge of visual standards and visual merchandising techniques.
  • Interact with management and other key business partners to ensure department plans and execution support overall Brand/ Category strategy and direction.
  • Develop strong presentation and training skills within the team.
  • Influences others through persuasion, ability to delivery relevant information with confidence and build a strong network of relationships.


Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Retail and or Business-related topics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Visual Merchandising related job.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience of the market, including knowledge of London and UK key retailers.
  • Works independently, autonomously receiving minimal guidelines.
  • Strong leadership skills and able to manage conversations with LT at territory and HQ level.
Ideal Skills/Attributes
  • A strong knowledge of sport, the consumer and London culture.
  • Experience and a strong understanding of style and fashion.
  • Creative background. Fashion, Art and design.
  • Relationship to the brand, a past connection (as a consumer or fan of the brand)
  • A strong knowledge of streetwear, fashion culture, trends, brand collaborations and competitors.
  • A relationship or connection to sport.
