With the digital media landscape evolving rapidly, it's an exciting time to be a part of Nike's North America Digital Brand Team driving growth in our Direct-to-Consumer business. As our Paid Social & Growth Manager, you will be responsible for charting the future direction of these vital targeted visual channels. You will have the opportunity to lead the evolution and up-leveling of our programs, developing Brand-right, premium growth marketing programs with sharp KPIs across the North America Digital ecosystem - including Nike.com, Nike App, SNKRS App, and online-to-offline.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You are an expert in Paid Social media and how to use these channels to drive sales growth and consumer acquisition. You have a strong track record with showing up boldly and elevated in direct response marketing - connecting consumers with brand innovation, experiences, content that inspires, while leveraging data and testing insights to continuously improve.

You are a strategic thinker who knows how to influence teams in a matrixed organization to implement strategies across multiple Social platforms. You are able to think holistically and have a deep the role this channels plays in a full-funnel marketing mix. You also understand the underlying technology and the future trajectory for this channels as privacy legislation evolves.

In this role, thought leadership, collaboration, and clear communications are key. You must be curious. You must have analytical chops but have a deep appreciate the art and role of elevated creative. You must also be eager to innovate, measure, test, sometimes fail, learn, and evolve to shape the strategy and planning for Nike campaigns across Paid Social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as subject matter expert across a range of Paid Social channels, managing the day-to-day and agency counterparts to unlock growth
• Set a roadmap and drive over-arching channel strategies for Paid Social, driving to direct response commerce goals (sales + customer acquisition) while inspiring consumers
• Partner to develop digital media journeys, on-ramps, and audience strategies to deliver highly targeted, premium, and relevant media programs
• Obsess channel-right creative, working cross-functionally to educate, empower, and enable Nike products & storytelling to show up best-in-class on these platforms
• Lead learning agendas, inclusive of measuring, optimizing, and disseminating learnings to the broader organization
• Build relationships with extended integrated media teams, media partners, our agencies to proactively identify emerging, impactful opportunities on Paid Social platforms and develop plans to leverage them
• Integrate with Nike Digital Engineering to ensure the technical capabilities needed to enable and optimize media plans are implemented
• Dive deep into the weekly performance, to understand trends and identify successes and opportunities as well as forecasting future channel performance

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Masters degree (MBA/MSc etc) a plus
  • 6-8 years of work experience in Digital Media with an emphasis on growth or direct response marketing; experience working on premium or luxury brands a plus
  • Strong understanding of Paid Social digital media across multiple platforms to meet e-commerce goals with in-platform experience required; experience with online-to-offline and/or app acquisition a plus
  • Experience optimizing digital marketing channels to deliver against sales and acquisition KPIs, minimizing cost per order/new customer while executing strategies to maximize revenue and customer lifetime value
  • In-depth experience with Facebook Business Manager; Expertise with Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter and dynamic creative (DCO) ads programs experience a plus
  • Self-starter with an innate curiosity and the drive to test, learn, adapt and be agile in a constantly evolving environment
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills & comfort with getting your "hands dirty" diving deep into the numbers. Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations on complex business issues required
  • Proven track record of working highly-collaboratively and cross-functionally, including with brand, creative and technical teams
