Supply Chain

The Nike, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day.
Description

You'll join a complex game, on a vast field, with many players, all of whom are hungry for information on how to improve, and how to measure their improvement. The game plan needs players in the middle; not just technically skilled to serve those around you, but also capable of connecting the bigger picture, and motivating others to change the way they're used to playing.

As a Marketplace Operations Performance Analyst, you will support the account teams by providing a sustainable performance management cycle to ensure effective delivery of reporting, tracking and data analysis. This to drive decision making to maximize revenue, margin and keep the market clean. You will provide the Integrated Marketplace channels, territories and top account teams with tools, best practices, and insights to elevate performance. You will contribute to the success of the integrated account teams and drive ongoing process improvements.

You'll succeed through intimate collaboration with peers across the end-to-end supply chain. You will have a strong Service Mindset, the ability to look End-to-End across the Value Chain and think from the Consumer.

Other examples of your responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Quality, On-time relevant data & reporting is in place to manage Seasonal Marketplace Performance
  • Build sustainable and scalable data products in partnership with the Nike Technology teams, data scientists and business users
  • Develop automatic data driven processes and decision making
  • Establish, grow and maintain data & reporting related tools, information base and processes.
  • Participate and lead aspects of the development of reliable, responsive, and actionable insights through the Seasonal Performance Management Framework
  • Prepare Data findings with clear action points on a continuous basis in support of MPO teams in Territories, across functions and Senior Management
  • Provide input to analytics solutions to enhance Nike EMEA's Marketplace Operations via business intelligence, descriptive and predictive analytics

You will contribute one or more of the following core skills to the team: 
  • Ability to engineer data (source it, bring meaning to it and improve its quality)
  • Proficiency in calculating metrics / KPIs for performance management and visualization
  • Supply chain knowledge to drive business process improvement
  • Project management skills 

Qualifications

We are creating a diverse team with a passion for Data, Reporting & Performance Management. It would be advantageous for you to have as many of the below skills, though not all are expected:

  • A numerical, scientific or computationally based university degree
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' relevant experience in a commercial environment 
  • Experience working in a big data, data architecture and reporting organization working with the agile methodology
  • Technically proficient on reporting solutions and tools like COGNOS, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Alteryx and Excel
  • Proven aptitude to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze and strong problem-solving capability to tackle complicated issues
  • Bias for action, drive for results while demonstrating positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Hypothesis and make recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
