Description

As our Marketplace Operations Pre-Season Analyst-, you'll be a critical cross-functional voice to ensure North America has the right supply, in the right amounts, at the right time. You will be part of a team of passionate critical thinkers that drive all supply management activities for North America MPO - inclusive of NA marketplace coverage, being the connection point for NA marketplace to the upstream supply dynamics (constraints, delays, allocations etc...) in collaboration with NA S&IP, and lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure we deliver the needed supply to enable the Consumer Direct Offense in the North America marketplace. You will partner with other Demand and Supply Management (DSM) functions including Inventory Planning and Demand Planning & the MPO Marketplace Account Operations teams to lead activities to ensure North America is proactively managing incoming supply availability while ensuring we are maximizing consumer demand to strengthen full price sales; encouraging productive and efficient processes to proactively manage marketplace expectations. These actions range from partnering with category and account teams to optimize demand with supply coverage, influence and implement process improvements to strengthen holistic seasonal performance across a geography, & Drive decision making that maximizes revenue- generating actions, maintains margin, and ensures inventory is optimized in the marketplace. 

You will also participate on projects and strategic initiatives that help to grow and improve the Nike Marketplace Operations (MPO) organization cross-functionally. As a valued member of our global marketplace ops & GOaLteam, you will also create, utilize, and share 'best practices.'

Key Accountabilities: 

Create the Future
• Define, operationalize, & standardize NA Supply Optimization processes within all of North America
• Develop the development of new capabilities, KPIs and advanced data in the supply availability and allocations
• Collaborate with category teams and integrated account teams to flow available supply to align with consumer demand

Business Management

•  Partner across DSM to identify, review and take action on order book adjustments against supply changes
•  Create a high performing culture by developing measures of health, and sharing results key business leaders
•  Lead &/or participate on Global or Geography initiatives

•  Acts with passion in their area of expertise and continually looks to enhance their technical skill
•  Establishes and monitors goals closely and feels a sense of urgency to reach them on-time

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field. Additional 2 years experience acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • 0-2 years of progressive and relevant business experience. This can include business or supply chain analytics, preferably within a consumer goods environment
  • Understanding of retail value chains, planning processes, and operations preferred
  • Curious and self-motivated, dedicated to improving one's self and the organization
  • Self-directed comfortable working in ambiguous environments
  • Interest in telling stories, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of SAP systems, and Cognos a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
