Will innovate and lead in the Architecture and Design space in Beaverton, OR. Will provide leadership in planning and in driving solutions across multiple domains/ solution areas, contributing to the future success of the business through innovations in technology. Will be responsible for leading opportunity identification and analysis, problem definition, and overseeing the development and deployment of advanced analytic tools and methods within the technology organization. Will lead and contribute to the definition of an overarching analytics strategy and architecture that will align analytics investments with the highest impact areas, while producing a suite of complementary models, tools, and technologies. Will evangelize break through analytics solutions through adoption of big data, cloud native technologies, machine learning and data science. Will partner with product and engineering leadership to establish an architectural plan across multiple solution areas, in consideration of the product roadmaps. Will participate in design and engineering of analytics solutions that have significant strategic impact and achieve long term competitive advantage. Will embrace and influence domain driven design and architecture principles of security, scale, uptime and reliability. Will partner with business leaders to provide expert technical advice and influence strategic decision making. Will guide and mentor engineering teams to raise collective technical expertise. Will demonstrate a strong bias for architecture principles balanced with tactical timelines, cost and risks. Will contribute to architecture guiding principles, development standards, training and hiring. Will provide technical leadership to technical, business and cross-functional teams. Will utilize an understanding of data and analytics solution architecture, including experience with big data, relational databases, streaming and batch data processing. Will lead enterprise cloud/virtual architectures like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Open Stack, and JIE. Will utilize experience with the principles and operations of high volume, variety and velocity business intelligence, data warehousing, reporting and analytics platforms with a proven background and record in architecture and implementation of applications, integrating with OLTP and third party systems. Will utilize knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling concepts and disciplines. Will engage in less than five percent domestic and international travel.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or information systems. Experience10 years of overall progressive experience in engineering. Skills/Requirements: 3 years of experience: (1) application, solution, integration, data, and analytics architecture and design; (2) technical leadership, including reviewing and driving the work of software or data engineering teams; (3) scalable and fault tolerant cloud native solutioning with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure; (4) big data and advanced analytics and data engineering with Hadoop and Spark; (5) design experience with integration and middleware platforms, including Websphere, Rational, and Tivoli; (6) full stack software, API, and web application design and development with Java, Python, or Javascript; (7) data warehousing and management; and (8) DevOps with continuous integration and delivery.
