Nike's Technical Operations (TechOps) organization recently added a "TechOps Products" organization to lead engagement with top internal business partners and to turn engagements into value-add services for each partner (our products). The prioritized internal business partners are Nike's four vertical business value domains - "Create" (manufacturing), "Move" (supply chain), "Serve" (consumer-facing functions), and Corporate Functions. This role is accountable for the Create domain.

Scope and Responsibilities:

The Create Product Director is accountable for leading Nike TechOps global engagement and Product development with the Create (manufacturing) domain partner. As Product owner this person will be responsible for:

•Defining vision for optimizing TechOps' value delivered to the Create domain.
•Prioritizing needs of domain partner.
•Leading Product backlog.
•Overseeing development stages.
•Anticipating domain partner needs.
•Acting as primary liaison.
•Evaluating Product progress and measuring success.

What We're Looking For:

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who has these experiences and can demonstrate these skills:

• Proven experience with Product Creation
• An understanding for how Technical Operations - global infrastructure, engineering, support, etc - can promote digitization of products and processes and improve impact on Nike consumers.
•Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
•10 years business, IT, or related experience
•Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and handle and resolve conflict
• High EQ; proven ability to create strong partnerships
•Experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment
•Confirmed people management experience: excellent at leading high performing teams and driving high engagement throughout a team.
•Passion for the Nike brand and culture.
