Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day.

Nike Global Marketplace Operations (MPO) designs, creates and implements the methods and tools needed to make the world's largest sports brand run faster, smarter and more securely. Global MPO teams boldly innovate the solutions needed to help employees navigate Nike's rapidly evolving landscape. From customer order capture through supply chain operations to order delivery, MPO Product Managers drive growth through implementation of top-flight processes, tools, systems and reporting. Simply put, without Nike MPO, there are no Nike products in the marketplace.

The Order Management team needs a strong Business Athlete/Product Manager with experience working in an agile environment, who's focus will be to deliver innovative capabilities to Nike Inc., Nike Direct to Consumer and its wholesale accounts with the highest quality and shortest lead time. In partnership with Business Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, Product Owners, Tech Teams and Customers, you will create the product/solution vision and be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Define and communicate Program vision and roadmap; ensure alignment to MPO and company strategies to deliver value
  • Work in close partnership with the Geography teams to understand and prioritize business needs, define Epics, handle and prioritize the Program backlog on an ongoing basis
  • Work with cross functional and cross Geo stakeholders to define Features value and priorities
  • Understand current and future customer needs, define features, figure out success criteria, validate solutions, and evaluate customer satisfaction
  • Drive business process innovation and optimization with process first approach.
  • Ensure teams have the full context and understanding of customers (Nike Direct & Wholesale Partners) and business environment to create valuable solutions
  • Provide oversight of strategy execution, technical, and transition management aspects
  • Assess the business impact of different solutions and the trade-offs between customer (Nike Direct & Wholesale Partners) needs, technology requirements and costs
  • Collaborate with Solution Management to figure out the optimum end to end implementation strategy and Product Owners to optimize Feature delivery to the customers
  • Analyze and communicate customer adoption, performance, time to market, quality and other metrics to stakeholders
  • Ensure Program priorities have necessary funding and review cost of accepted features
  • Build an effective Product Manager/Product Owner team and partnership with stakeholders
  • Understand how features are performing, the level of customer satisfaction, and provide suggestions for improvements

Preferred Skillset:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies and how they're applied in workplace culture
  • Experience in omni-channel retail and or wholesale capabilities
  • Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Ability to be flexible working in ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the relation between business process and the Products in the Program
  • Effective collaboration and relationship management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Experience resolving issues with higher levels of management
  • Experience leading cross-functional work
  • Shown ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands effectively
  • Experience leading others in resolving complex issues
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs
  • Experience in developing innovative solutions


Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in operations, logistics, product management or related field
    • 2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
  • Omni-channel business experience in buying, planning, supply chain, sales or procurement
  • Experience working with Agile teams, transition management and project management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, XP Programming etc.
  • Previous experience as a team lead
  • Travel, 5-10 % of the Time

Preferred:
  • Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, VersionOne
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail environment
  • Experience in the footwear and apparel industry
