This is a unique opportunity to join Valiant Labs, Nike's new business incubator. We're an entrepreneurial team moving at the speed of the consumer, taking calculated risks to build new business ventures - all with one goal in mind: serving consumers in new and unimagined ways to support the future growth of Nike Inc. In support of this mission, we are currently seeking an experienced Program Director on the People and Culture Team to lead the development of new programs designed to support the Entrepreneurs during this accelerated leadership journey to bring business ideas and pilots through our innovation pipeline.

This role brings unique capabilities to the People and Culture team. The role requires strong leadership and management experience and a strong understanding of the Entrepreneur's journey. Current programs are focused on Growth Coaching, Onboarding, Total Rewards and expanding our Culture of Belonging. Our ideal candidate is a proven leader who can balance the competing demands of building something from scratch, operationalizing successful programs and bringing key stakeholders along on the journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The People and Culture Program Director will be primarily responsible for
- Testing new programs designed to support the accelerated leadership journey of the Entrepreneur within the construct of our Innovation Pipeline.
- Operationalizing successful programs for Entrepreneurs leading our start-up teams and Enabling Function Leaders supporting Valiant Labs
- Creating playbooks of programs and best practices to ensure rapid adoption by future teams and potential scale within Nike.

In addition, the role will be responsible for the following:
- Partner with Nike's global L&D partners to ensure collaboration and communication on key priorities
- Lead review and assessment of programs, to improve learning experiences as our innovation pipeline evolves
- Implement quality review standards, processes, and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs
- Assess qualitative and quantitative feedback and insights to make recommendations to improve learning experiences
- Maintain knowledge by staying up to date with emerging trends in learning, development and cultures of belonging
- Be an internal facilitator and advocate. Provide counsel to teams to promote frequent, transparent learning and growth
- Integrate Valiant Labs values into all our programs
- Leverage surveys and feedback to continuously improve all programs and monitor the impact on annual engagement survey

- Empathy and self-awareness - you are a constant learner, open to coaching and feedback. You have demonstrated deep self-awareness, a constant curiosity and a thirst to grow. You have the interest and ability to pivot across varied opportunities. You have multiple battle scars and failures you can point to that showcase these skills.
- Understanding of Lean startup and human centered design - you have experience using lean startup, human centered design and/or agile methodologies to test and build new capabilities, programs and/or services within organizations.
- 8+ years building, leading, and delivering scalable and innovative Learning & Development strategies and programs in a fast-paced, scrappy environment.
- Ability to effectively interface with and influence employees at all levels of the organization
- Experience creating a metrics and data-driven framework for assessing, measuring and tracking L&D programming success.
- Experience hiring, managing, developing and leading growing teams.
- Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and judgment. Preferably experience working closely with Entrepreneurs.
- Strong organizational and program management skills.
- Ability to align partners and define clear goals and progress.
- Leadership coaching experience a plus.
