Operational Resilience
Description

As the Resilience Communications Manager, you will be a crucial member of the Resilience Strategy and Support team. You will work closely with Resilience team members globally to oversee the creation and implementation of communications that engage and inform audiences across the Nike, Inc. portfolio. You will play a key role in developing long-term communications strategies and deliver critical Resilience initiatives to Nike, Inc. employees.

As Communications Manager, you will also cultivate and manage key relationships with Nike's Corporate Communications teams to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful delivery of Resilience priority communications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.

This role will (including, but not limited to):
  • Define and deliver innovative communications strategies and plans
  • Manage and execute communications tactics across print, video, and online channels
  • Write and edit content for campaigns, presentations, websites, and videos
  • Coordinate all communications timelines and deliverables
  • Measure communications effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Manage communications budgets and resource needs
  • Provide graphics and copywriting support for team emails, signage, and collateral
  • Anticipate, manage, and mitigate communications issues
  • Work with corporate communications teams to ensure content delivery in a timely manner
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships inside Resilience and partner organizations
  • Build and maintain Resilience website

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will possess and/or be able to demonstrate:
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in journalism, PR, English, communications, business, or related field required. 2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
  • 5 years + professional experience in a high-profile communications role, either in agency or in-house
  • Proven ability to communicate plans across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basis.
  • Excellent writing/editorial, and strategic planning skills
  • Possess a sense of urgency, flexibility, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and develop consensus within diverse groups and with people at all levels within the organization
  • High aptitude for creative thinking, balanced against bottom-line business needs
  • Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and develop effective responses
