Description

As Real Estate & Construction Retail Finance Manager at our European headquarters near Amsterdam, you will play a key role in driving healthy and profitable growth for Nike with its Nike Stores.
You will be the main connection point and key business partner of our Real Estate, Store Construction & Facilities team providing them financial insights to their businesses and help them with their decision-making, with a focus on the expansion plans to create and transform the Marketplace.

You will primarily be responsible for controlling, reporting, optimizing, harmonizing the Real Estate, Store Construction & facilities preparing the financial models to assess financial accuracy and health of the existing/new stores investments and deals, including AR's preparation, Capex forecast & reporting, Facilities cost reporting, T&E monitoring, consulting with Senior Management on both Nike's profitability and for recommending and implementing process improvement opportunities. The role reports into the Sr Director Real Estate & Store Construction EMEA (Dotline to Retail Finance Director)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Capex & RE&SC budget forecasting and performance management in current fiscal year, proactively keep management informed of results, lead course correction actions
  • Manage Capex, Wages,T&E budget, reporting of business alignment for the 3 year plans, budgets, forecasts, monthly and year end results. Monitor monthly progress against targets and work with Sr Management to ensure accountability.
  • Lead the continuous & consistant financial optimization and the reporting process.
  • Actively interpret and review financial results with business managers to ensure accountability.
  • Manage the accounting & forecast as well as reporting processes of the RE&SC department
  • Perform analysis that aids in the decision making process and helps improve efficiently as well as on new business opportunities

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master degree 
  • Minimum of 6-7 years directly relevant work experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Demonstrable retail experience, acumen and affinity
  • Proven expertise in financial planning and reporting with large blue- chip, fast-paced and international environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills set, strategic mindset.
  • Experience of working within a matrix organization to be considered as an advantage
