Nike Sales partners with retailers - from a football specialty store in Rome to a Macy's department store in New York - to deliver the products, experiences and brand stories that make Nike the preeminent sports brand. It starts with the best sales team in the industry: Nike Sales employees keenly understand consumers, the marketplaces and Nike products. They collaborate with Nike Marketing, Merchandising and Product teams to create sales assortments for each season. The Sales teams' expertise and retail mindset ignites and sustains a focus on information, inspiration and connection to accelerate the growth of NIKE, Inc.

Nike is looking for a Sales Director Israel to be responsible for leading diverse sales team in winning on the marketplace. Based in Tel Aviv, you will be in charge of implementing strategic sales plans, elevating strategic account management, driving functional excellence, building strong sales team & talent bench as well as accelerating Nike growth in Tel Aviv and Israel.

Leadership Talent Development
  • Lead, Coach, Drive and Inspire sales team in Israel
  • Develop accountability culture in the sales team and hunger for constantly moving the benchmark
  • Have a great eye for talents and ensure that talent agenda is one of the top priorities
  • Bring the right people on board, create opportunities for people development, and drive performance management, recognition and rewards
  • Manage a team of around 10 people and sets team and individual goals that align with department and function goals
  • Develop team structure that facilitate and maximizes individual and team performance.

Vision and Strategic Planning
  • Develop long-term strategic vision of what Nike represents to the consumer and drive business growth.
  • Timely and effective delivers strategic directions through extensive cross-functional collaboration ensuring consumers' satisfaction.
  • Works with the product and category business groups to develop programs and product to achieve revenue targets and strong brand positioning.
  • Brand steward - ensuring Nike shows up as one brand in marketplace.
  • Leads the team's efforts in the development of account plans, operations, and support.
  • Leads the process for realistic and accurate scenario planning, forecasting, seasonal initiatives and business analysis.
  • Acts as the Management contact for all accounts in assigned geography, territory, or category.

Consumer Connectivity
  • Lead seamless consumer experience on the marketplace across all channels and categories.
  • Ensure sales team is close to the market place and knows the consumer.
  • Ensure that all plans on a regional and functional level are aligned with this consumer vision and will result in brand and business growth.

Qualifications
  • Experience managing a team (or teams) of direct sales, customer services, and customer support in the Athletic and/or Consumer Products Industry.
  • Operations, or support team management, senior retail divisional management strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record increasing revenue by creating and driving a holistic business plans inclusive of short and long term business strategies and financial targets.
  • Experience and knowledge of retail fluency and account profitability models with an ability to drive a profitable account business.
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
  • Able to influence both cross functionally and vertically within the industry and marketplace and negotiate complex retail agreements.
