Nike's Consumer Direct Sciences is a growing team responsible for building and deepening a holistic view of Nike's consumers through data and analytics and applying those insights to inform smarter business decisions and the development of incredible digital content & experiences for our consumers.

We are looking for someone obsessed with consumer insights, passionate about the science of marketing communications and personalization, and adept at turning large volumes of data into simple insights and recommended actions.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead audience strategies and executions by advising and consulting marketing and business stakeholders and mapping the marketing & business strategies to available audience capabilities.
  • Understand the business/ marketing strategy for every targeted audience communication, analyze performance of personalized communications, and consult stakeholders on how outcomes could be improved.
  • Embed with EMEA stakeholders in understanding business requirements and work back with Global Personalization Science team on prototyping and leading the execution of pilots and betas, providing the analysis and insights that lead to the next iterations of the strategy.
  • Interpret and communicate insights and findings from audience analysis and experiments to marketing and business managers, as well as product and engineering teams.
  • Manage the execution and delivery of the Audience Targeting Programme for all Nike Direct Marketing Communications, which include:
- Coordination of Audience Targeting Intakes

- Develop and Enforce Audience Targeting best practices

- Awareness of strategic initiatives in EMEA NDM, and in CDS and Personalization Science

  • 3-5 years' experience doing quantitative analysis on digital experiences and communication channels
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing or other quantitative field preferred
  • Fluency in SQL (Hive) or similar experience in analysing large structured and unstructured datasets
  • An understanding of advanced analytics techniques; competency with statistical packages such as R, Python, MATLAB, etc.
  • Experience with statistical modeling techniques (Regression, Logistic Regression, Random Forest)
  • Experience working with data management, data processes and flows in large scale systems
  • Ability to use analytics to understand digital consumer behaviour and identify opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Adept at creative storytelling using data driven insights, and ability to bring complex consumer data to life for marketing and business stakeholders, especially the ability to explain complex technical processes to non-technical partners
  • Experience working with multiple marketing stakeholders and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of best practices & current trends in digital marketing communication and CRM targeting strategy for retail, digital commerce, or mobile apps preferred
  • Go-getter with proven experience building positive working relationships and working successfully in cross-functional teams with varied levels of understanding of analytics
