OVERVIEW
The Experience Science Analytics team orchestrate analysis of consumer digital behavior to drive site merchandizing, digital product, experiences and activations, proactively identifying opportunities to drive consumer frequency and retention through integrating, synthesizing and driving knowledge to action across consumer and marketplace for the nike.com EMEA business of 39 countries.
As the senior analyst in the team you will be at the heart of the digital business and will help drive decisions that will improve performance, directly leading to the accomplishment of annual goals. You will support the Experience Science Director and the Digital Product and Digital Platform teams by driving insights around business performance and potential.
You'll use web analytics tools, SQL, and a broad range of other analytics tools to pull out relevant information and craft data driven stories that will grow our business and/or enhance our consumers' journeys. You'll also partner closely with key business teams such as Digital Product, fully immerse yourself in their roadmaps and plans, to ensure we are driving the best strategic decisions based on the insights you produce.
You need to be self-driven and proactive and must show the capacity to manage several concurrent tracks of work. Superb teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate complicated ideas and conclusions in simple business terms. Overall, we are looking for an experienced analyst, accomplished in driving productive business partnerships, passionate about working with numbers, with high technical proficiency and excellent business acumen.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner closely with Digital Product and Digital Platform teams to actively influence roadmap and strategy based on analytical insights.
• Deliver tactical behavioural analytics-driven insights to the Consumer Direct Sciences, Digital Product and Digital Platform teams.
• Pro-actively seek growth and optimization opportunities in the data, craft persuasive stories and visuals to support new business initiatives.
• Partner with both local and global Consumer Direct Sciences teams cross-functionally to leverage insights and drive growth within the EMEA markets.
• Partner with the global and local BI teams, exposing them to EMEA business needs and implementing global developments locally.
• Build a deep understanding of key conversion drivers, KPI trends and 365 insights and best in class experiences and activations and use data to drive these insights into the business.
• Own and share reports for consumer journey and experience KPIs and business drivers, engaging with stakeholders to drive a self-service culture where possible.
• Support analysis of consumer digital behavior to drive site merchandizing and activations.


Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytical, Business or Marketing subject
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience in analytics with e-commerce or Apps experience preferred.
• Very strong toolset skills required: especially in Web Analytics (Adobe analytics preferred), SQL, advanced Excel, visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Knowledge of Big data and technical languages an advantage (Python, R, Spark, Javascript, etc.)
• Proven experience of pro-actively partnering with business stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to develop analytical solutions that drive positive business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of analytics implementation and how consumer digital behaviour is translated to back-end analytics data.
• Passion for getting valuable insights out of large amounts of data, directly querying databases or dealing with complex spreadsheet files.
• Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyse, develop hypotheses and make recommendations.
• A high skill level in communicating in all forms, able to elevate the team's work to a variety of senior stakeholders, also ensuring proper team documentation.
• Strong task management capabilities to manage multiple tracks of work and requirements.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and working successfully in cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an agile, global business environment preferred.
